Melody Parker's body stiffened slightly because of his tight embrace.
She let him hold her, her dark eyes looking at him, softly saying, "Adrian, you're drunk, why don't you rest? Let's get up from the sofa now, and I'll help you upstairs to rest, okay?"
Adrian's hazy eyes looked at Melody Parker, obediently nodding, "Okay."
"Adrian, come on, let's get up." Melody Parker said, helping Adrian up from the sofa.
Adrian followed Melody Parker's lead, getting up from the sofa, and let her support him back to the bedroom.
Melody Parker helped Adrian lay down on the large bed, carefully and thoughtfully taking off his shoes and covering him with a silk duvet, "Adrian, lie still, I'm going to make you some hangover soup."
After saying that, she was about to turn and leave.
But just as she turned around, Adrian suddenly grabbed her arm, "Melody, don't go, I don't want you to leave."
He tightly held her arm, childlike in his innocence.
