The group of four stood in the palace, and Adrian looked at Lisa, purposely feigning ignorance as he asked coldly, "I have come to pay respects to the King of Whitehill, yet the King is avoiding me and sends the Queen instead. Does this mean he looks down on me?"
As he spoke, Adrian naturally emanated an aura of authority, overpowering Lisa's arrogance, leaving her hesitating to lash out.
Lisa immediately stood up with a smile, maintaining her usual gentle demeanor, "Young Master Davies, hello. You must be new to Whitehill, correct?"
Adrian did not deny it, tacitly acknowledging.
Seeing this, Lisa's smile broadened, "Then it must be so, Young Master Davies, newly arriving here, naturally wouldn't know the situation of Whitehill."
Looking at Adrian, Lisa lied without any burden, "The King fell gravely ill few days ago and is now recuperating. All affairs of Whitehill are temporarily managed by me, until the new Crown Prince ascends the throne."
