Seeing Melody Parker, Muir immediately smiled and said, "My daughter has returned?"
As he spoke, he walked over to Melody Parker, hugged her tightly, and unbelievingly said, "This isn't a dream, is it? My daughter has really come back?"
Melody Parker let Muir hold her, responding expressionlessly, "Dad, I have returned."
"Yes, yes." Muir's old eyes suddenly filled with mist.
He released Melody from his embrace, looking at her with relief, "It's good that you're back, it's good that you're back."
After saying this, he looked at Melody with excitement and said, "Melody, I have already found your destined fate, and they will soon come to Whitehill to marry you."
Afraid that Melody might decisively refuse as before, Muir quickly added, "Melody, don't rush to refuse Dad just yet, listen to what Dad has to say first."
Melody nodded.
