Melody Parker's cold and sinister eyes flashed with a hint of complacency.
She did not put the crown back on, but looked at the crowd and said, "As a daughter, I could not protect my father's peace after death. As a king, I could not make my ministers convinced. What use is such a king to you? To stay here and be a puppet?"
Upon hearing Melody Parker's words, the kneeling aristocrats and ministers immediately expressed their loyalty, saying: "We pledge allegiance to the new king, and we shall only follow the new king's command!"
Melody Parker finally was satisfied and put on the crown, sitting back on the throne.
She looked at the crowd and kindly said, "You may rise."
