When Mu Yan woke up an hour later, Jiang Jingheng was sitting on the sofa opposite the bed reading documents.
Seeing her sit up, he put down the documents and walked over, "Awake? Did you sleep well?"
"Mm." Mu Yan responded softly.
She rubbed her sore waist and gave him a playful glance, thinking about how he didn't listen last night even when she told him to stop.
Seemingly understanding her meaning, Jiang Jingheng sat beside her, pulled her into his arms, and massaged her.
Mu Yan saw how gentle he was and couldn't bring herself to be mad at him.
She relaxed her body and leaned against him, the soft sensation at her waist making her close her eyes comfortably, and drowsiness followed.
After a while, she opened her eyes and said, "I'm hungry."
"Alright." Jiang Jingheng picked up clothes and helped her put them on, then carried her to the bathroom.
After washing up, the two of them went downstairs together.
The dining table was filled with all of Mu Yan's favorite foods.
