"No, no way!" the translator shouted, "We can't let her escape! She stole secrets from Casselvia!"
Brandan Hyde was silent for a moment, then picked up his phone to call the club manager: "Turn off the cameras."
"You...!" The translator was furious that this person didn't listen to him and shouted, "Do you know how much Casselvia will lose if she escapes?!"
Brandan curled his lips, a faint smile on his face, "What's that got to do with me?" He only needed to make sure his friend was safe.
A minute later, the manager called back, "Young Hyde, the cameras are off."
Brandan watched the cold-faced female spy. She had eyes as icy as stars, and her stance in holding Alex Hawk hostage was very standard. He was sure that if he made a rash move, her dagger would slash the vulnerable artery on Alex's neck.
"The cameras are off," Brandan said. "You can leave now; no one will stop you. Please release my friend."
