Harry Hunter understood his grandfather's little schemes. He pulled Isabella Weaver into his arms and said nonchalantly, "The old man is afraid you won't be willing to part with the child. My mom couldn't bear to give me to him back then, and he was upset about it for years."
Isabella immediately understood. She laughed and took Ben Hunter's arm, "Grandpa, don't worry. If you like to take care of the child, I'll let you. I'm actually really afraid I won't do a good job. With you around, I feel much more at ease!"
She was being honest. She had grown up struggling and was used to being oppressed. Deep down, she lacked confidence and security. She was really afraid her weaknesses might affect the child.
Harry Hunter's personality was the exact opposite of hers. He was confident and strong, even to the point of being unashamedly bold! He almost had no weaknesses, showing Ben Hunter had taught him well.
Ben Hunter was suddenly surprised when Isabella hugged his arm.
