Director Valley stood up and personally tended to his apprentice's facial injury: "Who hit you, and why go for the face?"
"I don't know which idiot under Connor's command, he must've been beaten badly by my sister but couldn't fight back, so he took it out on me."
As the master and apprentice were talking, Johan Niles hadn't had the chance to tell his master his troubles when a little nurse rushed in to report: "Director, your godson Alexander Parker is here, he insists on you giving him acupuncture so he can immediately stand up and walk!"
Director Valley immediately ditched his apprentice and followed the little nurse to see his godson.
Johan Niles nearly spat blood, can this world get any worse?
