Johan Niles sat by the bedside, checking Natalie Niles briefly, with a grim face: "The internal organs are still seeping blood. Has she complained of any pain?"
"No."
"That's not right, the injuries are so severe, she should be in unbearable pain. The painkillers I gave her last night should have worn off by now!"
Connor was startled, could it be that she's been enduring it all along?
"I'll give her another shot, also fever and anti-inflammatory medication, make sure you feed her."
"There's definitely blood clotting in the brain, but unfortunately, we can't use any equipment now. Let's hope it's not too severe. If it's minor, there's a chance the clots will slowly be absorbed, and her vision could recover."
Johan Niles kept changing her bandages and administering shots, yet she didn't wake up from all the fuss.
