Toru gave a slow nod of awe. "Wow… can you believe we actually played alongside both of them?"
Masaru nodded, his warmth matching Toru's. "Not just them, also the captains of both teams."
Toru smiled, a hint of nostalgia in his eyes. "It really takes us back… all the way to the All-School Cup."
Masaru chuckled. "Yeah… Come to think of it, there's still some unfinished business between them. Yohan never faced Kurogami, and Haruma never went up against Kazutora."
Toru's smile slightly began to fade as the memory hit him. Haruma tending to his dislocated ankle, Kazutora losing the match, and afterward the deathly stare he had shot at Haruma.
"Kazutora's definitely going after Haruma with everything he's got," Toru said, his expression serious.
