Chapter 27 - SECOND RAID

Hearing the word compensation, Divina and Henry, who had seen just how abundant resources were in Levi's vault, looked in ecstasy. Let's get going already, Henry said in agitation, ready to take his new swords into battle.

Okay, Levi said as he summoned the Monarch-tier Nova-Ember. They hopped into the ship and zoomed off to the crack. Aiden, looking at the leaving ship, muttered something to himself before he continued what he was doing.

Inside the crack, Levi and his group landed on the floor, I don't have enough time right now, so I have to deal with this quickly. As he said that, monarch's domain, he said calmly. Instantly, the whole crack was covered in a veil of white. This was the unique skill of all monarch-tier powerhouses; they could take a portion of a place and have control over it depending on their rank. He casually waved his hand, and a portal that led to the centre appeared before them. They casually entered and saw over a thousand Ferocious tier 8 beasts, staring at the portal with hostility and 18 tier 9 beasts guarding a cube at the centre. Seeing this, Levi just took a breath, and several windblades appeared in front of all of them and tore their bodies easily.

Landing in front of the cube that was now defenceless, Levi tried to take the cube, but a claw-like hand grabbed his hand and delivered a punch to his stomach that sent him flying. He immediately supported himself with wind to slow his fall, landing on his feet while cleaning the blood that trickled down his mouth.

As expected, there was another guardian here, he thought as he soared into the air, rushing to the centre. The main reason he asked both Henry and Divina to come was because of situations like this.

Levi, I can't see through him, which means he is already at the stellar tier, Henry said as he went closer to Levi in the air. I thought as much, my shitty luck cant let me get something so easily he muttered to himself. Get ready, we would have to face this thing, so it would not come out of the crack, he told Henry. Divina, just stay as far away as you can; you will only be a hindrance to us. She nodded as she flew away. Although she was a proud girl, she knew when she was to stand down. Henry, let's do this, Levi said as his energy soared, erupting from his body. Henry unsheathed his swords as he also got ready for the battle.

Levi summoned a meteorite that went straight to the beast, but it was effortlessly punched into rubble. While he was punching, Henry, who had already gotten behind him, slashed down with precision, as his sword struck his head, but the effect was not as he expected, as the beast caught the sword with his other hand, and flung him to a mountain nearby. Levi, using that break, lunged towards him with a spear in hand. The spear thrust the beast in the heart, and appeared on the other end. But instead of being happy, Levi had a look of pain as a sharp pain erupted from his heart. The pain of the spear was felt by him instead of the beast. The beast kicked him away, while he had a smirk on his lips.
