Chapter 383: Primal Submission [Bonus]

~Third POV~

[Sea, In the Middle of Nowhere]

The middle of the vast, cobalt ocean was a place where no shipping lanes crossed, where few clouds dared to linger, and where the silence was broken only by the rhythmic beat of massive wings. Azure stood firmly astride the back of his colossal partner, Rayquaza.

The Sky High Pokémon's scales shimmered like emerald glass in the brilliant sun. Perched on Azure's left shoulder, Pikachu gripped his shirt, its tail twitching with anticipation. Above his head, Eevee nestled comfortably, occasionally sniffing the wind, entirely unfazed by the 700-foot drop to the endless sea below.

Beside them flew Mewtwo, a creature of human creation and immense psychic power, currently cloaked in an aura of detached readiness. Azure announced, his voice carrying easily over the wind rushing past, "We're here, guys. The coordinates are secure. Away from any shipping lanes or regions. Time to keep my end of the bargain."

The wind whipped Azure's black coat as he reached for the two specialized Ultra Balls clipped to his belt. He had captured these two world-shapers months ago, not by force, but by promises—promises that required patience, strategy, and an understanding of primordial history.

*Woooosh*

With twin clicks, he hurled the Ultra Balls downward. They expanded, releasing blinding white light that split the atmosphere.

*Pop*

*SPLASH*

With a crash that sent tremors through the seawater, Kyogre materialized forth. The gargantuan Pokémon, a deity of the sea, landed heavily, displacing tons of water into towering spires.

*Pop*

*THUD*

Simultaneously, a pillar of hardened earth and magma erupted from the sea floor beneath the spot where Groudon appeared. The Continent Pokémon stood firm, its armored hide radiating intense heat, creating a temporary, barren island in the middle of the aquatic expanse.

Groudon and Kyogre, the two titanic rivals, did not immediately lock eyes. Instead, both turned their massive forms towards the Trainer, the small, seemingly insignificant human riding the Sky High Pokémon.

Azure stated bluntly, pulling two small, deeply saturated stones from his inner pocket: the Sapphire and Ruby that contained the latent power of the true Orbs, "A deal is a deal. You listened to me. You maintained the truce I established. In return, I promised to help you retrieve the true sources of your power."

*Wooosh*

Azure tossed the Sapphire and Ruby into the air. As if compelled by an unseen force, the stones began to glow—not with the dull light of imitation, but with the terrifying, ancient radiance of creation itself.

The Sapphire reverted, lengthening and deepening into the swirling, oceanic energy of the Blue Orb. The Ruby fractured, hardening and igniting into the searing, terrestrial fire of the Red Orb.

*RMBL*

The moment the true Orbs materialized, the atmosphere screamed in protest.

Groudon, with a deep, guttural sound that shook the fabricated land beneath it, absorbed the Red Orb into the symbol on its chest. At the same time, Kyogre opened its titanic maw, engulfing the Blue Orb.

The change was absolute and instantaneous.

*SHIIII*

The air around Groudon shimmered, and its body swelled, plates hardening into obsidian armor and the magma channels within glowing with unbearable intensity. Primal Groudon roared, its presence forcing the sea to retreat, warping the environment with the overwhelming heat of Desolate Land.

*SHIIII*

Kyogre expanded, its white markings turning molten sky-blue, its massive form radiating the power of the endless ocean. Primal Kyogre answered with a chilling, earth-shattering cry, summoning a torrential storm that instantly swallowed the temporary heat, plunging the immediate area into the devastating downpour of Primordial Sea.

For the first time in millennia, the two Super-Ancient Pokémon stood in their true, primal forms, fueled by the natural energy of the Orbs. Their power was limitless. Their rivalry was instantly—and violently—reignited.

Primal Groudon took one massive, earth-shaking step out onto its patch of land, ignoring the human above. Primal Kyogre turned its gigantic head, casting a massive shadow across the surging waves, its eyes fixed only on the rival that sought to dry the world.

They looked up at the sky and roared, a duet of elemental wrath that sought only the destruction of the other. Azure sighed, rubbing his temples, murmuring, "The predictable arrogance of absolute power. Seen that coming…"

Mewtwo stated telepathically, its gaze one of supreme intellectual boredom, 'Beings of immense power and longevity surely act childishly, wanting to fight with each other rather than seeking true purpose.'

Rayquaza snorted, a plume of atmospheric energy escaping its nostrils. It had dealt with this exact cycle of destruction for eons; it was tedious.

Azure leaned forward on Rayquaza's neck. He didn't raise his voice, but the frustration in his tone was sharp enough to cut through the storm as his expression hardened, "Sigh… since you got your Primal Forms, you think you have the power to go back on your word. It seems like you didn't take my promise seriously. In that case, as your Trainer, I'll have to deal with your disobedience."

Immediately, Azure raised his hand. His keystone, embedded in his glove, began to thrum with intense light as he roared, "Rayquaza! Beyond Mega Evolution, synchronize!"

*SHIII*

The Sky High Pokémon responded, its form elongating, its jaw cracking wider, the energy flowing through its body stabilizing and intensifying into the familiar, devastating form of Mega Rayquaza.

*SHIIII*

Mewtwo needed no prompt. Its genetic programming drove it toward perfection. With a flash of internal psychic force, it Mega Evolved itself, shrinking slightly and becoming sleek, aerodynamic, and immensely powerful: Mega Mewtwo Form Y.

This was not enough, however. Azure needed to prove his authority unequivocally. He reached into a specialized pouch and pulled out two ancient, crystalline plates. He muttered, "For added insurance."

*Wooosh*

He tossed the obsidian and sapphire crystal—the [Draco Plate]—to Rayquaza. The moment the Plate touched Rayquaza's scales, it didn't just absorb the item; it integrated it, and the Dragon-type power coursing through the Mega Form exploded, bathing the legendary in a swirling midnight blue aura.

Azure said casually, tossing the translucent, violet Mind Plate, "And for you, Mewtwo! Can't have you be left out!"

*Wooosh*

Mewtwo caught the Plate telekinetically. The moment the Plate connected with its form, the psychic energy surrounding it multiplied uncontrollably. The Plate's power—the primal energy connection to the psychic concept of Arceus itself—instantly fueled the already terrifying power of Mega Mewtwo Y.

*THUMP*

The power surge was palpable.

Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre instantly tensed. Their fight forgotten, their entire attention snapped to the three beings hovering above the sea. Something about both Rayquaza and Mewtwo felt profoundly wrong.

The energy emanating from the small, unassuming Plates was not just powerful; it was suffocating. It represented a bottomless, utterly cold abyss of power that was fundamentally unnatural.

*RMBL*

Groudon stomped its massive foot, its lava-covered body cracking the earthen island further. Kyogre swirled, its form rising higher above the waves, its glowing red eyes narrowed in deep apprehension.

Azure's voice remained steady, now carrying the weight of ultimate authority, "Look at me, Groudon. Look at me, Kyogre."

Both colossal Pokémon's eyes widened in shock, not just at the power, but at the sheer gall of the human. Azure challenged, "If you win, I'll overlook today's incident. I will accept that I misjudged my Pokémon's maturity. But if you lose—and you will—you will follow my orders from now on. No more fights. No more destruction. You will be partners in creation, not rivals in annihilation. Is that understood?"

Groudon and Kyogre's pride burned like the fire of creation itself. This was not a challenge; it was an insult as they thought they were highly offended, 'They were the primordial forces of nature, the living concepts of land and sea! To be commanded like this—to be told to submit by a human—was unacceptable!'

*RMBL*

Primal Groudon let out a deep, earth-shaking roar, causing the ground to split into deep fissures beneath its feet. Kyogre's red eyes glowed, its massive fins slamming the water, sending towering waves that clawed at the storm clouds.

Azure, now riding his Dragonite—which he had discreetly released to serve as a stable observation platform—simply watched, Pikachu nervously gripping his shoulder while Eevee still sat on his head, occasionally squeaking in excitement.

Mewtwo, ever the observer, analyzed the situation. From its perspective, the Pokémon gathered here were nothing short of gods—primordial beings of legend, their power ranking among the strongest in the world.

And yet, Mewtwo, created by humans to be the ultimate psychic weapon, pondered the silent question, 'Who was truly stronger?'

The power coursing through its veins, thanks to the [Mind Plate], gave it an unbiased answer: the Primals were powerful, but they were unrefined. They were raw force.

Rayquaza watched in silence. Unlike the others, its focus wasn't on the battle—but on the Primals themselves. The flicker of disdain in its golden eyes was clear.

They had returned to their Primal Forms, yet Rayquaza, fueled by the [Draco Plate], felt invincibly, geometrically stronger than ever before. Azure had made it stronger than it ever was in its natural state, stronger than it was under the rule of its former Lorekeepers.

Groudon and Kyogre roared in unison, their battle instincts kicking into hyperdrive. They would crush this insubordination.

*RMBL*

From the superheated ground beneath Groudon, massive stone swords surged, erupting outward as Earth Energy focused into deadly projectiles, spearing toward Mega Mewtwo Y from every direction.

*PEW*

At the same time, Kyogre opened its maw. A chilling, crystalline beam of light gathered between its jaws. A devastating, focused Ice Beam launched forward, aimed directly at Mega Rayquaza.

For a moment, it seemed like there was no escape from the twin assault of terrestrial and oceanic destruction. But for Azure's partners, they remained utterly unfazed.

*Swf*

The moment before impact, Mewtwo used Teleport, its body vanishing in a flash of violet light, reappearing several hundred meters above Primal Kyogre…

*ZOOOM*

Rayquaza vanished using blinding Extreme Speed, leaving behind only a momentary sonic boom. The swords of earth pierced through empty air, shattering against each other. Kyogre's Ice Beam sailed harmlessly into the sky, where it fragmented into a spectacular, but useless, shockwave.

Both Groudon's and Kyogre's massive eyes widened in alarm. They had lost sight of their opponents instantly.

Their power was immense, but their speed and agility were lacking when compared to the concentrated refinement of these Mega monsters. Azure smirked, raising a single finger in the air, "Mewtwo. End this one quickly. Strong Style Psystrike."

*PEW*

A brilliant, concentrated beam of pure psychic energy instantly erupted from Mewtwo's hand, empowered by the [Mind Plate]. It slammed into Kyogre's head, unleashing a Psystrike of catastrophic magnitude.

*KA-BOOOOOM*

The impact was deafening, a sound that seemed to suck the very air from the sky. Kyogre howled in agonizing disbelief, its massive form crashing into the sea with an earth-shaking splash that dwarfed any previous wave.

*Shiii*

As the water settled, a flash of white light enveloped the wounded sea deity. Kyogre's Primal Reversion had been broken. It reverted to its normal form, stunned, weakened, and bobbing helplessly in the roiling sea.

Groudon's mind reeled in disbelief, staring at its lifelong rival, 'Kyogre… defeated so quickly? By a psychic attack?

But Groudon had no time to process the sight of its fallen rival. All it saw was the emerald-green serpent returning from the stratosphere, its golden eyes narrowed in predatory focus aimed at it next.

Azure's voice boomed, amplified by an unseen psychic field, "Groudon, your time is up! Rayquaza! Hit him with everything we practiced! Strong Style Dragon Energy!"

*RMBL*

Mega Rayquaza let out a victorious, chest-rattling roar. Its draconic energy swirled in a vortex, turning the air around it black.

Azure had spent months teaching his partner the full potential of Dragon-type power, and the [Draco Plate]unlocked the ultimate capacity of that training.

*PEW*

Rayquaza roared, unleashing Dragon Energy—a move that harnesses every ounce of the Dragon-type's potential, fueled by the legendary power of the Plate. The very light of the world seemed to fade, replaced by a momentary, swirling abyss of shadow.

Within that oppressive darkness, Rayquaza launched a purple, planet-shattering beam from the orb it created at full power.

Like meteors breaking through the atmosphere, the Dragon Energy plummeted down in a cataclysmic barrage, crashing onto Primal Groudon in a storm of unrelenting, hyper-focused destruction.

*KA-BOOOOOOM*

The sheer force of the Dragon Energy attack sent shockwaves that cracked the temporary continent into shards. Groudon roared in agony, its once-mighty form buckling under the celestial onslaught. The Primal Armor that encased it cracked, shattered, and evaporated, its Primal Form sputtering out under the weight of the blow.

A final, blinding flash of white light engulfed its body. In the aftermath, only its normal form remained, battered and weakened, slumped against the collapsing battlefield.

Just like that, the battle of the titans was over. Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo Y hovered above the scene, completely unscathed—as if untouched by the raging forces of nature they had just commanded and crushed.

Below, Groudon and Kyogre lay motionless, their bodies still radiating heat and oceanic energy, but the fire of battle and arrogance in their eyes had dimmed, replaced by a vast, incomprehensible shock.

Azure rode Dragonite down until it was hovering just meters above the two defeated Primals. Rayquaza and Mewtwo reverted to their normal forms, dropping the Plates, which Azure quickly recalled.

Azure stated simply, "It looks like you've lost."

Even though their Primal Forms had been stripped away and they were momentarily stunned, Groudon and Kyogre still had the strength to fight. But for the first time in their incredibly long lives, they chose not to.

The realization hit them like a physical blow: The Trainer before them was different. He was not just strong; he was an overwhelming force of nature in his own right, achieving a synergy with his Pokémon that surpassed millennia of natural power.

They had always seen humans as weak, clever, but ultimately fragile beings, toys to be used or destroyed. Azure was the terrifying exception. Even with the limitless natural energy of their Orbs, they had been outmatched, outsped, and instantly overpowered.

For the first time, their eyes no longer held contempt or rivalry. Instead, they gazed at Azure with profound, undeniable respect.

Then, at the same moment, both super-ancient Pokémon lowered their heads fully, bowing to their new Master. Submissive and obedient.

The disobedience was quelled. The promise was enforced. From the sea and the land, the primal forces submitted to Azure Sky.

Azure smirked as he recalled them into their Ultra Balls, uttering, "Bought time! With that issue dealt with now comes the other one…"
