At the back of the group—
Tsunade and Shizune looked up at the creature also classified as a "slug"—the Six-Tails. The former fell into thought.
The legendary Slug Sage of Shikkotsu Forest was already considered the pinnacle of slug-type creatures in the ninja world, but compared to the Six-Tails before them...
Tsunade believed that in terms of destructive power, the Slug Sage was far inferior to this Tailed Beast slug.
She could clearly sense the wild and chaotic chakra radiating from the Six-Tails' body. It was comparable to forces of nature—thunder, tsunamis, hurricanes!
The group arrived at the shore.
"Big bro! Big bro!"
Tamamo was the first to rush forward, shouting excitedly, "Can we catch this thing and use it as a mount?"
The Uchihas gave strange looks and turned toward Yu.
"It's still a bit lacking," Yu said as he examined the gigantic Six-Tails, which hadn't attacked them yet.
Tamamo's eyes immediately lit up.
The other Uchihas gasped in shock—Even the Six-Tails wasn't good enough in Yu's eyes?
Thinking back to Yu's barely-acceptable reaction to the serpent king Shin'ya…
The Uchihas couldn't help but wonder—what kind of ultimate mount would actually satisfy their captain?
"Please… save Kirigakure…"
Mei Terumi's face trembled as she approached Yu and pleaded.
"Alright," Yu said, staring at the Six-Tails' back. Then he added, "But I'm raising the price!"
Just as Mei breathed a sigh of relief, Yu's follow-up made her heart clench in anxiety.
Tamamo glanced at Mikoto and Tsunade in the group, then leaned toward Mei and whispered, "Hehe, why don't you join the Uchiha too? Kirigakure's already in ruins—if you join the Uchiha, big bro will definitely treat you well!"
Mei's body trembled, and she quickly shook her head. "But… Kirigakure still needs me!"
"…" Yu shot Tamamo a cold sideways glance. Tamamo finally shut up and turned to leave.
"Lady Mei?"
Hozuki Suigetsu snapped out of his daze, looked back at Mei, and softly called to her.
Mei noticed the white-haired boy and looked down in surprise. "This is a junior of the Hozuki clan. Yu, what's his situation?"
Yu replied, "He's the Three-Tails' Jinchuriki now."
Mei's face showed surprise, while Suigetsu didn't really understand what being a Jinchuriki meant.
Before they could say more—
From the direction of the warehouse…
Over forty black shadows emerged from the ruins, instantly lifting the spirits of the Kirigakure shinobi around Mei.
"It's the clan heads of the Hozuki and Yuki clans…"
A Mist ninja exclaimed with joy.
But before the Mist shinobi could celebrate—
Those clan leaders and high-level shinobi, now under Obito's genjutsu control, charged at them in a frenzy.
The Mist ninja were confused.
Mei's expression darkened as she turned to Yu—and to her surprise, flames of orange-red had ignited around him.
A powerful repelling force pushed her, the Uchihas, and the surrounding Mist ninja to the side.
"This is…"
Suigetsu suddenly looked up and was shocked to realize only he and the man Mei had called 'Yu' remained in place.
"Don't resist the chakra draining from your body. Stand still."
Yu spoke calmly.
And then—
"Ugh—"
Suigetsu's pupils flashed with the Yasakani mark, and blue flames ignited across his body. His chakra quickly surged out, pouring into Yu's body.
In moments, Suigetsu was completely drained. Then, to his horror, his body ignited with the same violent red chakra that had accompanied the Six-Tails earlier.
It was the chakra of the Three-Tails, Isobu. Though Suigetsu didn't know it, he had already become Yu's jinchuriki-style "battery."
"As expected, it works."
Yu withdrew his gaze from Suigetsu and looked toward the incoming elite of Kirigakure.
If he could wipe out these manipulated leaders, the village could be rebuilt. Leaving them alive would only burden Mei.
As the Three-Tails' chakra flooded into Yu, he felt a torrent of feral energy.
Obito had miscalculated—through the Yasakani, Yu could absorb even the wild chakra of Tailed Beasts.
After all, the technique's limit was to absorb the chakra of all humans in the ninja world. A single Tailed Beast wasn't even close to enough.
Crack, crack, crack—
The sky twisted and cracked.
The orange-red Susanoo's body expanded drastically. The armor of the Crow Tengu instantly appeared—battle helmet, breastplate, greaves, and boots, all materialized at once.
Its twin wings were adorned with shards of pure energy.
The Complete Susanoo returned!
A massive flaming blade swept across the charging Kirigakure elite.
"Where… am I?"
"Damn it, what is that thing?!"
Bathed in the light of the Complete Susanoo, the mist leaders' genjutsu dissolved. Their minds cleared, and they screamed in horror.
Before they could run, the Sword of Totsuka swept across—sealing every single one of them into an illusory world.
"…This…"
Mei stared in astonishment. She had thought Yu would free them from the genjutsu and spare their lives, but he sealed them all without hesitation.
But what could she say?
The rest of the mist shinobi, gazing up at the colossal red giant, completely forgot that the Six-Tails was still attacking their village.
"Everyone, follow me!"
Mei bit her lip, then took off toward the Six-Tails.
Since Yu had agreed to intervene, she wanted to lead her team to try to slow the beast down.
She knew all too well—she and her fellow mist ninja could do nothing more than delay the Tailed Beast's advance, even if just slightly.
"If I can unlock this power one day, I wanna make mine green!"
Tamao looked up at his big brother, his baby face filled with longing. Then he followed the others.
Ahead of the warehouse—
The orange-red Complete Susanoo easily wiped out the mist leaders. Yu set his eyes on the Six-Tails in the distance, thinking: once I catch that thing, the main mission should be complete.
Hundreds of miles away—
Obito stood atop a tall building, his gaze following the path of the approaching Six-Tails as he looked to the far edge of Kirigakure.
Boom—
The Six-Tails, now aware of an unpleasant chakra in the distance, suddenly stopped and turned its head.
Instantly—
The entire world was engulfed in an orange glow as a colossal energy giant, ablaze with orange flames, flapped its wings and glided toward them.
Obito's pupils dilated in shock and fear. He muttered in disbelief, "Yu can already use Itachi's Susanoo to this extent?"
Without hesitation, he activated his Mangekyō and instantly teleported into the sky, locking eyes with the stunned Six-Tails.
With his remaining chakra, Obito injected mental interference into Six Tail's mind, driving it into a frenzy—just like the Nine-Tails during the Konoha attack.
Sharingan patterns emerged on the eyes atop Six Tail's antennae. A violent blast of air erupted from the vent on its head as its rage exploded.
Obito quickly escaped into the Kamui dimension.
But the next moment—
Yu, with Suigetsu, piloted his complete orange Susanoo to circle above in the sky.
The heavens and earth lost all color.
Susanoo descended from the sky, its flaming Totsuka Blade stabbing vertically downward toward the Six-Tails.
