Chapter 189 - Chapter 189: Preparation

"Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan…"

Uchiha Yu pondered quietly.

If he could complete this mission, he wouldn't have to rely on sneaking in sips of green potion during battle anymore.

Sure, his fights seemed easy and casual now—but that was only because he hadn't encountered a true equal yet.

Throughout his journey so far, the only person who had ever genuinely threatened him was Danzo, back before his escape.

Back then, he had just obtained his Mangekyō, and his body hadn't yet adapted to its power.

Now, although he appeared invincible within the ninja world, if he were to face an Ōtsutsuki, there would be no chance to drink any potion mid-fight.

With the Eternal Mangekyō, it meant that even when he used his dark crimson Complete Susanoo, his body would no longer suffer the backlash from the Mangekyō's strain.

He could fight freely—fight until his chakra was completely exhausted.

A faint smirk tugged at Yu's lips. This was his chance for evolution.

"Tch—"

Tsunade shot a cold glance at him, standing by the window and smiling for no apparent reason. She couldn't help but let out a disdainful scoff.

Admiring the night view of Konoha, Uchiha Yu once again focused his mind, his voice echoing through the prison dimension:

"Gentlemen, it seems our first transaction must take place tonight."

Upon hearing this, Tobirama and Hashirama opened their eyes—though the world before them was still pitch black.

"You wish to know the burial site of that Uchiha war weapon," Tobirama said, "but how do you know that I know where it's buried?"

The moment Yu spoke, Tobirama had already guessed his intention. This brat never sought them out at night unless he wanted something.

Hashirama became intrigued as well. Though he knew he had nothing to trade with Yu—his imprisonment here was all thanks to his brother, after all.

"Mm," Yu replied. "The Uchiha and Senju clans fought for centuries. Who else but a Senju could've sealed the Uchiha's ultimate weapon?"

Of course, Yu knew far more about that weapon than the Great Elder ever could—his knowledge came from before he crossed into this world.

Unfortunately, he hadn't finished the game's storyline before being sent into the ninja world.

In the game, that ultimate weapon had been sealed away by the combined efforts of the Senju and Sarutobi clans after a massive war between Uchiha and Senju.

Tobirama's eyes lit up slightly. He admired Yu's bold, deductive reasoning.

But that admiration only went so far.

He pressed further:

"There's no trust between us. What makes you think that if I tell you the burial site, you'll honestly tell me the information I want in return?"

"..."

Hashirama sighed helplessly. If it were him, he probably would've agreed to the trade immediately—and even given Yu his information first, trusting that Yu would hold up his end afterward.

"That's why," Yu said calmly, "for our first trade, I intend to earn your trust."

His voice was still level and emotionless, as though he had long foreseen Tobirama's response.

The moment he finished speaking, both brothers sensed the shape of their prison space beginning to shift.

They had been standing motionless for days, almost accustomed to the position.

"What are you trying to do?" Tobirama demanded sharply.

"Make you do the splits."

Yu's voice was casual.

As he spoke, Tobirama felt the space beneath his feet begin to constrict—compressing downward.

The next instant, the force pushed harder.

Tobirama's lower body was forcibly spread apart into a full split. His spiritual body felt no pain, but the pose itself was utterly humiliating.

The dignified Second Hokage—doing a split in front of someone else?

He was Senju Tobirama!

"Damn Uchiha brat!" he snarled.

In his perception, his brother had been flipped upside down—Hashirama's body now half-buried in what felt like a solid earthen sphere, unable to move at all.

"..."

Hashirama wanted to cry.

Why was he the one suffering, when it was his brother making the deal with Uchiha Yu?

"So, my guess is that the Uchiha clan's war weapon from the Warring States period was most likely sealed away by the Senju clan," Uchiha Yu said with a faint smile. "And as the Second Hokage, you must know exactly where it's buried."

"You treat me and my brother like this, and you still think you can get information out of me in this lifetime?" Tobirama snarled viciously.

He was one step away from being forced into a full split—when suddenly, the space shifted again.

Hashirama, who was suspended upside down in midair, began to slowly drift toward him.

At this rate, the two brothers would soon end up face-to-face while hanging upside down—a grotesque and humiliating pose that would leave them both mentally scarred for life.

But there was nothing they could do. The prison dimension was entirely under Yu's control, and he could manipulate their positions however he pleased—twisting them into all kinds of absurd and disturbing configurations.

For men of their stature, such treatment was unbearable humiliation.

"Heh… no need to rush, Lord Second Hokage," Yu said coldly. "This is all part of building trust between us. For this trade—you provide me with the location of the burial site, and in return, I'll let you two resume normal positions."

"Bastard! Put us back first!" Tobirama barked.

He had no desire to be pressed up so closely against his brother.

Naturally, Hashirama felt the same way.

"You give me the information first," Yu said with a crooked grin as he watched the ridiculous scene unfold. "You don't really have a choice."

Silence fell.

Tobirama's expression twisted in frustration as he finally compromised. "Fine—I'll tell you first. But you'll expand the space back to its original size."

The moment his brother relented, Hashirama—still dangling upside down—let out a sigh of relief.

"Deal," Yu replied without hesitation.

"Then take out a map," Tobirama ordered coldly.

Yu's consciousness immediately returned to the real world. Reconnecting the prison dimension's view with the outside, he turned to Tsunade's desk, pulled open a drawer, and spread a large map of the ninja world across the surface.

Tobirama's voice echoed through the link. "Hell Valley."

Tsunade arched a brow, glancing at Yu in confusion. But he was already scanning the map intently.

"You're not seriously trying to find the seal site of that so-called war weapon, are you?" she asked, clicking her tongue. "Tch, you're insane. We don't even know who sealed her, let alone have any records of her exact location. Even if she's still alive, finding her would be like searching for a needle in a haystack!"

Suddenly, Yu reached out—

And grasped Tsunade's right hand.

"You…"

She froze, startled by the warmth of his touch, a strange current running through her skin.

Yu calmly took the pen from her fingers and marked Hell Valley on the map.

"You—!"

Hashirama didn't even know what to say.

Tsunade's beautiful face darkened with anger as she pulled her hand back, glaring coldly at the map.

Hell Valley—located in the Land of Bears. A small nation covered in dense forests. To the north, it bordered the Land of Earth; to the south, the Land of Wind.

From Konoha, even a lower-ranked ninja would need at least three days to reach it on foot. Riding Shinya, the fastest route would still take a full day and night.

The valley itself lay on the eastern edge of the Land of Bears, near the border with the Land of Birds.

From the markings on the map, it was a place filled with toxic mists and treacherous terrain—its very name was a warning. The geography there was said to be even deadlier than the Valley of Retribution.

Tobirama ignored the small exchange between Yu and Tsunade, explaining in a grave tone:

"Back then, the Senju clan and the Sarutobi clan worked together to seal the Uchiha's ultimate weapon of war. As for why it was sealed so far away—that was a strategic decision made by the leaders of both clans at the time."

Yu nodded slightly. "Alright. Once I find the burial site, I'll keep my word."

"Then let us stand properly again," Tobirama demanded coldly.

"Alright." Uchiha Yu spoke as his spiritual will restored the prison space to normal. Tobirama and Hashirama regained their standing posture once again. At the same time, the prison space severed its visual link with the outside world and was once more shrouded in darkness.

Tsunade asked in surprise, "How can you be sure that the war weapon was buried in Hell Valley?"

"I've seen ancient maps from before the Warring States era. Centuries ago, the Senju clan's territory was located in what's now the Land of Bears. My guess is that the Senju clan sealed Uchiha's war weapon there."

Uchiha Yu casually made up an excuse.

"I don't remember hearing anything about that," Tsunade muttered, frowning in thought.

She racked her brain for everything she had learned from the Senju clan's teachings but couldn't find any record of it.

"Get some rest tonight. We'll leave early in the morning," Yu reminded her.

After saying that, he blew out the candle on the desk. The office fell into pitch-black darkness, while the moonlight streaming in through the window cast a faint silver glow over everything.

The two quickly adjusted to the night.
