Odette turned her head instantly and stared at Sir Alexander with eyes glimmering with hope. She approached him and asked, "Can you really do that, Sir?"
"Of course. As a soldier, I have to patrol back and forth between this garrison and inside the capital city. I can bring you with me as a friend, and nobody will notice you," Alexander replied. "Though, you will have to stay close by my side throughout the trip inside the capital city. The capital is huge and dangerous for a woman like you. So you need proper protection."
"I will stick by your side, Sir!" Odette agreed without hesitation. She would do anything if that meant she could escape the Masked Alpha.
Besides, having a tour guide around the city was very beneficial, as this was her first time entering a human kingdom. With someone by her side, she wouldn't look so out of place.
"Good. I'll pick you up tomorrow morning—I mean, we can leave by dawn," Alexander said. "Just wait for me in this lobby, understand?"
