Jarius studied the system panel, noting the increase in all his attributes and the unlocking of his class and NPC template.

A wry smile crossed his face.

"The player template unlocks in the fifth chapter, but this NPC template… looks like I'm an elite mob for now?"

He closed the panel. At this stage, it was merely a mirror reflecting his strength.

Pushing open the door, he stepped out of the cabin.

Outside stood an eaglefolk warrior clad in bronze armor, gripping a bronze spear. Seeing Jarius, his face lit up.

"Jarius, you're out of seclusion!"

Jarius clapped his shoulder, grinning.

"Thanks for standing guard, Len!"

"Hahaha, guarding your door? No trouble at all!"

Len laughed heartily.

"Alright, I'm out now. You don't need to stay here. Go handle your tasks,"

Jarius said with a smile.

"Jarius, I've got nothing pressing. Mind showing me just how strong you've gotten?"

Len asked, curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

Every eaglefolk dreamed of becoming a transcendent.

"In terms of strength… that deer-type magical beast we fought before? It wouldn't stand a chance against me now,"

Jarius replied. He picked up a bronze spear, channeling a faint surge of power. Purple lightning crackled around the spear's tip. With a flick of his wrist, he hurled it toward the village outskirts.

Boom! A one-meter-wide crater blasted into the earth.

"That's incredible!"

Len and the eaglefolk drawn by the commotion gasped in awe.

"With Jarius leading us, the Gaoman Mountain Tribe is finally rising!"

Jarius looked at his cheering kin, warmth swelling in his chest.

After taking up his class, he could see the path to transcendence clearly—a roadmap to growing stronger step by step.

The baptism of Titan and Dragon blood had elevated his body's potential immensely.

Given enough time, he was confident he could at least reach the Legendary tier.

After all, he had the experience of his past life. Falling too far behind was not an option.

In the days that followed.

Jarius instructed his tribe to forge more bronze weapons and armor, and to stockpile food.

He frequently soared beyond Gaoman Mountain, scouting the surrounding lands for places where the eaglefolk could hide or settle in seclusion.

The apocalyptic war between Titans and Dragons loomed. Even Legends might not survive, let alone a newly ascended transcendent like him.

His search uncovered several magical beast lairs, but nothing ideal.

After exploring the nearby regions, Jarius decided to venture farther.

Packing his travel gear, he spent seven days and nights flying ten thousand miles eastward.

Arriving at the edge of the Eastern Ocean.

Ancient legends spoke of the ocean as the domain of the sea clans. Aside from Titans and Dragons, no one dared claim the coastal lands as their stronghold.

Circling the coastline for days, Jarius discovered a towering mountain peak rising at the ocean's edge. The surrounding area teemed with resources, and aside from a few magical beasts, there were no traces of intelligent life.

"This… it's practically a paradise bestowed upon the Gaoman Mountain Tribe!"

"When the war breaks out, I'll bring my people here. The sea clans may be fearsome, but can they compare to a Titan-Dragon war that could shatter the heavens and earth?"

One Year Later Jarius trained diligently at Gaoman Mountain.

As he always had. Perhaps due to the Titan and Dragon blood, his progress was astonishingly swift.

In a single year, he rose from Thunderwielder Level 1 to Level 5, reaching the peak of the First Tier of Transcendence: the Formal Stage.

The next step was the Second Tier: the Master Stage.

To that end, he delved into the Sea of Spirituality once more, creating an advanced class for Thunderwielder—Wings of Thunder!

On this day.

As he prepared to begin his breakthrough on a slab of bluestone, a desolate bronze horn blared.

A voice, vast as a celestial wind, thundered from the clouds above.

"Summon your chieftain!"

Jarius arrived at the stone cliff. The eaglefolk messenger seemed taken aback to find that Jarius was a transcendent eaglefolk, and his tone softened slightly.

Raising a stone spear, the messenger proclaimed,

"By the decree of the Royal Court, all able-bodied eaglefolk of the Gaoman Mountain Tribe are summoned to the eaglefolk ancestral seat, 'Sky Mountain,' to await orders!"

Jarius's mind raced.

The heaven-shattering war has finally begun!
