Might Guy stood frozen in place, unable to believe that he, who had trained so hard, was defeated by Ronglin in a single move. This was a significant blow to Guy. After Ronglin pointed out his shortcomings, Guy's passionate spirit instantly vanished, and he sat on the ground, unresponsive.

It was disheartening, but Ronglin had to point it out because it was good for Guy. Actual combat could improve combat experience, but with Guy's current strength, it was better to train in silence.

"If you think my words hurt your pride, then I apologize."

Spreading his palm, Ronglin looked at the stunned Guy, his tone becoming stern:

"But you are still too weak right now. I'm sorry, that's what I truly believe. If you're not convinced, you're welcome to challenge me anytime."

"1"

"2"

After speaking, Ronglin continued his interrupted training, letting the disheartened Guy slowly reflect on the previous battle and his own words.

"I will, Uchiha Ronglin! I will definitely defeat you. From today onwards, I will strive to achieve that goal!!!"

After a long while, Guy, who was sitting on the ground, slowly regained his senses. His neck flushed red, and he shouted before running off, leaving Ronglin, who was doing frog jumps, stunned.

Wasn't your goal Kakashi? How did it shift to me?

This made Ronglin somewhat exasperated, yet amused. However, there was no need to worry. Wanting to challenge him would only become increasingly difficult. Guy would discover that his words today were destined to be impossible to achieve.

"Haven't you seen enough, Kakashi?"

After Guy left the training ground, Ronglin didn't interrupt his training, but casually asked a question during his jumps, as if talking to the air.

As time passed, Ronglin's strength gradually grew, and his control over the Sharingan and Byakugan also steadily improved. His sensory abilities subsequently enhanced, and he easily detected Kakashi, who was hiding nearby. Ronglin had noticed Kakashi from the moment Guy began challenging him.

"Your strength is formidable."

Kakashi was a little embarrassed to be caught secretly watching. He emerged from behind a large tree not far away, a faint, almost imperceptible blush on the half of his face that wasn't covered.

After graduating from the academy, Kakashi, under the title of a genius, began executing missions. He quickly discovered that things were far from as simple as he had imagined. Since he didn't have a fixed team, he could only join temporary squads halfway through missions.

However, a genius from the academy joining a squad halfway became a burden. It seemed everyone didn't welcome him, but due to certain reasons, they didn't voice their opinions.

Still, the private sarcastic remarks were unavoidable. Anyone who joined a team halfway would basically encounter such things; new recruits being mocked by veterans was commonplace.

During this mission, he had an unpleasant incident with his teammates. After submitting the mission report, Kakashi came to the training ground, not expecting to see Guy inviting Ronglin for a sparring match.

But everything that happened next left Kakashi speechless. This was no sparring match; it was simply a one-sided massacre!!

"Thank you for the compliment." Ronglin smiled faintly, clearly not taking it to heart.

Kakashi raised an eyebrow, naturally seeing that Ronglin didn't care about it.

If it were anyone else receiving praise from Kakashi, they might be very happy, but Ronglin wouldn't be. Kakashi was a genius, true, but was he himself any less?

Clearly not. There were some things Ronglin wouldn't strive for because they were meaningless, but that didn't mean Ronglin didn't care.

"Then, let's end your boring training. How about we spar?"

Kakashi, who valued words like gold, raised an eyebrow, and a kunai flashed into his hand, issuing a challenge to Ronglin.

"Oh?!"

Stopping his frog jump training, Ronglin was very surprised. The great genius Kakashi was actually inviting him to spar. If the students at the academy knew, they would probably be shocked.

Standing up and stretching his limbs, Ronglin grinned: "Although it will interrupt my training and take some time, this suggestion seems good."

Again, while he wouldn't deliberately strive for it, that didn't mean Ronglin didn't care.

"Then let's begin." Kakashi gripped the kunai in his hand, not underestimating Ronglin in the slightest, and assumed a serious combat stance.

Today seemed to be getting more and more interesting, Ronglin smiled and nodded, "Alright, begin."

A kunai also appeared in Ronglin's hand, but what annoyed Kakashi was that Ronglin's gaze seemed to carry a hint of mockery, yes, mockery. Kakashi was certain he hadn't seen wrong.

This was unbearable for Kakashi, who was used to receiving various praises and attention wherever he went. So, after the two kunai clashed, the battle erupted.

"Clang!!"

Graduating with the title of genius, Kakashi's strength was formidable compared to his peers. However, Ronglin was even more monstrous. The two small figures collided, and the clash of kunai produced a crisp sound.

Ronglin did not use his Sharingan or Byakugan.

A tremendous force traveled through the kunai to both their arms. Kakashi's normally hard-to-open eyes were now wide with disbelief. He couldn't believe that Ronglin's speed and strength were greater than his own.

He had attacked first, yet Ronglin had moved later but arrived earlier, covering a greater distance than him. This was enough to prove that Ronglin's speed was faster than his own!!

Besides speed, the force transmitted through the kunai almost made Kakashi drop his kunai.

"It's not good to get distracted during a battle, you know."

Noticing the shock in Kakashi's eyes, Ronglin chuckled playfully. The kunai in his right hand flashed to his left hand like lightning and swiftly slashed.

Kakashi was instantly alarmed, realizing he had been careless and gotten distracted during the battle. Using the lingering rebound force, he quickly retreated. A flash of light passed, and Ronglin stood in place with his kunai, not pressing his advantage.

Kakashi's face was very grim. If he hadn't reacted quickly enough to that last attack, he would have been in big trouble. Even so, Kakashi's clothes were sliced open from his shoulder to his waist by the kunai, a neat cut.

Fast, fierce, and precise!

In just an instant, Kakashi witnessed Ronglin's formidable power.

"What if, I said what if my kunai had been two centimeters further forward?"

The kunai in Ronglin's hand spun rapidly, performing several blade flourishes.

"...." Kakashi's face was gloomy, and he didn't answer. The answer was obvious: two centimeters further forward, and he would have a fatal wound on his body.

With one strike, the superiority was clear. For Ronglin, Kakashi was still too green. Even with a powerful father's guidance, he still had many weaknesses.
