Ronglin wasn't worried at all that his words would raise suspicion. In fact, many of the things he mentioned were documented in books within the library—it was just that few people bothered to read them. The main reason Ronglin spoke this way was to make Tsunade take him seriously.

Only if Tsunade valued him could he gain access to more resources and strengthen his own abilities.

Take Minato Namikaze for example. If Minato hadn't gained the attention and support of both Jiraiya and the Third Hokage, could he have achieved what he did?

Let's not even talk about Minato's signature spatiotemporal ninjutsu—Hiraishin. Was it something easily obtained?

Minato was just an ordinary civilian-born ninja without any clan backing. His only support came from his teacher, Jiraiya!

Without Jiraiya's recommendation and approval, would the Third Hokage have handed over such a powerful technique like the Hiraishin to Minato Namikaze so readily?

Over the past year, aside from strengthening his foundation, Ronglin had been waiting patiently for the right opportunity. Rather than showcasing his overwhelming potential directly to the Third Hokage, he preferred having a reliable backer who could advocate on his behalf.

Tsunade was perfect for this role!

As the princess of the Senju Clan, she could obtain whatever she desired.

Thus, Ronglin needed Tsunade to value him. He didn't mind being shocking as long as his claims were grounded in evidence. Instead of doubting him, Tsunade would likely come to appreciate his insights and ultimately decide to support him fully.

Raising her hand, Tsunade seemed to want to say something but found herself at a loss for words. After a long pause, she lowered her hand helplessly and chuckled bitterly. "Alright, I admit it. Kids these days are extraordinary. Both you and the old man Hokage underestimated you."

"After this mission, train under me for a while—even though I'm not exactly a qualified teacher."

Shaking her head, Tsunade said with a wry smile, "I don't even know if agreeing to be your teacher was the right decision. Listen up, brat. Don't go causing trouble for me, alright? You know how much I hate trouble. Seriously!"

All geniuses tend to stir up some chaos sooner or later. Tsunade just hoped Ronglin would stay out of trouble and not burden her with unnecessary headaches.

Though her words sounded stern, the faint smile on Tsunade's face betrayed her satisfaction. This made Ronglin breathe a sigh of relief. Gaining resources was no easy feat!

He couldn't help but envy those born into prestigious clans like the Uchiha or Hyuga. But little did they know—they'd regret their disdain for him one day. Oh yes, they definitely would!!!

Ronglin didn't care about the Uchiha or Hyuga looking down on him, but that didn't mean he'd simply let it slide. One day, he'd repay them for everything, and there would be plenty of opportunities, especially during his future journeys.

Over the past year, Ronglin had observed every move the Uchiha and Hyuga clans made. He wasn't a child anymore; he wouldn't reveal his true intentions until he had enough strength. Sometimes, patience was key. Ronglin never considered himself a good person, and revenge was something he wouldn't overlook.

"Are you planning to teach me some powerful jutsu, sensei?"

When it was time to act, he knew how to perform. But when it was time to play dumb, he didn't hesitate either. Ronglin immediately switched expressions, feigning surprise and excitement like a child receiving candy.

"I…."

Tsunade was momentarily speechless, a flicker of anger rising within her before quickly dissipating. It was only natural for someone like Ronglin—who had no family or connections—to think this way. Unconsciously, Tsunade even began to see him less as a child and more as an adult.

"Fine. Shut up and eat."

Even Tsunade didn't understand why she felt irritated, but sometimes emotions weren't something one could control.

Indeed, women going through menopause were unpredictable—ready to explode at any moment. Knowing better than to push his luck, Ronglin obediently closed his mouth and ate quietly while Tsunade continued drinking in silence.

After the meal, Tsunade casually found an excuse to send Ronglin away. She then wandered around the streets herself. It wasn't hard to guess what a tipsy Tsunade would do next: locate a casino, gamble a bit, and indulge herself.

To put it bluntly, she was essentially giving away money—though most of the time, she was already deeply in debt.

Of course, her status and wealth allowed her to get away with it. If it were anyone else, the entire village might've been turned upside down by now. Ironically, the person suffering the most was Danzo.

After all, the casinos in Konoha were controlled by his Shimura clan. But could Danzo possibly demand payment from Tsunade?

"Everyone, stay sharp!!!"

The single day of rest passed quickly. However, once they left the border town and entered Wind Country, the convoy leader's demeanor turned stern, and the guards became highly vigilant, keeping a close eye on their surroundings.

What was the easiest thing to breed in a poor and backward country?

Bandits and rogue shinobi!

These people survived by plundering. Once inside Wind Country, it was common to encounter such threats. Though Sunagakure tried to suppress them, completely eradicating these groups was impossible. And compared to Wind Country, places like Rain Country—a perpetually rainy, chaotic nation—were far worse.

"The atmosphere has changed completely."

Even Spring Rain Evening, a girl with nerves of steel, could sense the tension.

"Leaving Fire Country means we're bound to face trouble along the way—bandits, rogue shinobi, and other dangers. Stay alert and remember our mission."

As teammates, Ronglin kindly reminded them.

"Yeah, we'll be careful," Zhicheng Ying nodded seriously.

Traveling across the sandy terrain slowed the carriage significantly, and the occasional harsh weather conditions made the journey increasingly difficult.

The first day passed without incident.

But early on the second morning, trouble arrived.

This was the convoy's first encounter with danger since leaving Konoha. The convoy members immediately tensed up, but Tsunade showed no intention of intervening. She glanced indifferently at Ronglin and the others, her meaning clear—it was their turn to step up.

"Hehe, finally, some prey has walked right into our hands, boys. Time to get to work!"

As the convoy passed through a rocky area, a group of bandits suddenly appeared. These men exuded ferocity, their faces scarred and brutish, clearly marking them as troublemakers.

"Wow! Not bad at all—two women too! Excellent! Even if one's a bit young, she'll still keep us entertained."

A group of bandits emerged from behind the rocks, surrounding the convoy. Their leader was a shinobi, albeit a weak one. One of the bandits openly leered at Tsunade, his gaze filled with insolence, causing a flash of anger to appear in her eyes.

"Oh ho, this little lady's mad now."

Tsunade's fury was unmistakable.

Instantly, the bandits burst into raucous laughter, revealing their blackened teeth as they mocked her.
