Chapter 1535 - Chapter 1518: Second and Third Brothers

"Head to White Crow City."

A resolute glint flashed in Li Guang's eyes. He had once crossed paths with Yi Tianxing in the "World's Greatest Secret Realm," [chapter 191] and now, heading to White Crow City might be the only chance to find San Niang. If he didn't go, there'd be no chance at all. Don't be fooled by the name God-Demon Battlefield—this battlefield was unimaginably vast. Finding one person in it was no different from searching for a needle in a haystack.

Almost impossible.

But White Crow City was different. The Great Yi Dynasty was different.

Who on the battlefield hadn't heard of White Crow City? Who didn't know of Yi Tianxing? Who didn't revere the Great Yi Dynasty? Even the Heavenly Dao seemed to be subtly endorsing White Crow City's presence on the battlefield—how else could its scenes of war be transmitted across the entire battleground? Without the Dao's tacit approval, that would be impossible given the battlefield's immensity. Missing this chance would mean missing one of the central focal points of the battlefield.

Of course, this meant White Crow City would surely become a prime target for Eternal Night's assaults—but it was also where opportunities lay.

If he wanted to find San Niang, only by heading to White Crow City would he have any real hope.

He didn't hesitate. Li Guang was never one to waver. Once he made up his mind, he acted swiftly. While he could see White Crow City from where he was, the distance was far greater than it seemed. And more importantly—White Crow City could move. It might be here today, gone tomorrow. Reaching it would require a relentless pursuit.

And today, he'd seen a glimpse of White Crow City fighting on the battlefield.

Even so, Li Guang set off without hesitation.

Howl!!

A piercing screech tore through the void, and a massive thunder eagle descended from the sky. Its entire body crackled with silver lightning, each feather gleaming with lethal radiance. Its eyes were sharp and wild—yet when it looked at Li Guang, a hint of softness appeared. It landed gently before him.

"Xiao Yin, let's go find San Niang," Li Guang said softly, stroking the eagle's head.

He stepped onto the eagle's back, and with a mighty flap of its wings, the thunder eagle soared into the air, heading straight toward White Crow City. The journey ahead was treacherous—the void swarmed with Eternal Night demons. Every step forward would be paid for in blood and fire.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, in a secluded valley, a group of young sword cultivators fought side by side, fending off waves of Eternal Night slave soldiers. Swordlight flashed like lightning, cutting down the horde into chunks of flesh and gore.

"Taiyi Splitting Sword!!"

"Bagua Demon-Suppressing Sword!!"

"Piercing Thorn Sword!!"

Their shouts rang out one after another.

Each flying sword in their hands was wielded to perfection—some split into countless sword lights, sweeping across entire flanks; some formed Bagua sword diagrams, unleashing torrents of sword energy that were devastating to demonic foes; others, like the Piercing Thorn Sword, darted like lightning, striking with unmatched speed and accuracy.

Though numbering less than a hundred, their combat strength rivaled a full military corps, perhaps even surpassed it.

Among them, two individuals stood out as leaders:

—A man and a woman.

The man wore a purple sword robe, exuding a noble and resolute aura. A purple sword scar sat between his brows, his eyes calm yet sharp, radiating quiet confidence.

The woman was dressed in a purple palace dress, carrying an air of innate nobility. She stood among the disciples like a peerless phoenix among chickens—stunningly beautiful and elegant. Many of the male disciples couldn't help but steal glances at her, their admiration evident.

"Senior Brother Ziying, I just saw my brother!" the young woman said excitedly.

"Junior Sister Ziyan, you wish to go to White Crow City?" Ziying turned to her, a gentle smile on his lips. He followed her gaze into the distance—where White Crow City was under siege from the Eternal Night army.

"Though it appears close, White Crow City is far from us in truth," he said. "But if you want to go, I will naturally accompany you. Before entering this battlefield, the sect had already decided—helping you reunite with your brother and reach the Great Yi Dynasty was our highest priority. After all, your brother is the lord of the Human Race's number one fortune dynasty. I've long admired him."

Murong Ziying nodded, his eyes gleaming with interest.

This wasn't just any young girl. She was Zhao Ziyan, Yi Tianxing's younger sister, the Eldest Princess of the Great Yi Dynasty. Years ago, she was taken in by the Qionghua Immortal Sect. Within the sect, her noble aura had long marked her as special—nurtured over time by the dynasty's powerful fate.

This was destiny.

The sect had made clear: if there was a chance, they must escort Zhao Ziyan to Yi Tianxing. On this battlefield, a single sect was like a cup of water trying to extinguish a cart of fire—survival would be impossible in the long run. But with the backing of an entire dynasty, safety and success would be far more attainable.

And who wouldn't be curious about Emperor Yi, ruler of Great Yi? Even Murong Ziying couldn't resist the allure.

Especially after seeing Yi Tianxing stand unmoved amid a siege, using nothing but his Heavenly Emperor Dragon Diagram to effortlessly slay ten Eternal Night prodigies, he was more intrigued than ever. This kind of strength—rising from mortal ranks to supremacy—far outshone any so-called sect genius.

Zhao Ziyan had immediately recognized her brother. Her excitement was overwhelming. After over twenty years of separation, her longing hadn't faded—it had only deepened.

"Of course, Senior Sister Zhao. We'll all help you. Going to White Crow City won't be a problem for us," the other disciples chimed in.

They all agreed without hesitation.

Zhao Ziyan was not only their senior sister, but also a royal princess of Great Yi. If they successfully escorted her there, the rewards would be unimaginable. A chance to tie themselves to the number one dynasty under Heaven—who wouldn't leap at such an opportunity?

"Thank you, Senior Brother Ziying. And thank you, everyone," Zhao Ziyan said with a warm smile.

"Alright, let's finish off this wave of demons and then set off for White Crow City," said Murong Ziying.

The sword cultivators resumed their assault. Sword light surged, washing over the battlefield like a tidal wave. Before long, the nearby area was cleared. With a sweep of their swords, they soared into the sky—flying sword travel, the signature movement method of sword cultivators.

And it was fast. Much faster than ordinary flight.

Meanwhile, in a stronghold called Cold Snow City on the battlefield...

This city wasn't too large or small—just big enough to house a few million troops. It was built from strange ice crystals, harder than steel, and the surrounding environment was frigid, snow falling perpetually. Within its walls, soldiers—both human and nonhuman—stood shoulder to shoulder. Many were old enemies, yet now coexisted in a fragile peace.

No one dared break it.

Outside the city, Eternal Night slave soldiers launched wave after wave of attacks, storming the walls only to be repelled again and again.

The walls were steeped in blood—crimson against the white snow.

Upon those battlements stood a middle-aged man in royal robes, twin swords sheathed at his waist. His features were… unusual: ears long enough to touch his shoulders, eyes able to see his own ears, arms long enough to reach past his knees. A face both bizarre and unforgettable.

Tears shimmered in his eyes as he gazed into the sky.

"Second Brother, Third Brother, Zilong… I finally see you again. Why did you leave me behind…?"

His voice was filled with sorrow, tears falling like rain.

A nearby scholar stepped forward and said, "Your Majesty, do not grieve. General Guan, General Zhang, and General Zhao only joined the Great Yi Dynasty because they had not yet found Your Majesty. If they had known you were here, they might have returned to your side to serve you. Besides… joining Great Yi might not be a bad thing."
