Humanity is an enormous race.
Merely by skin color, it's divided into various branches—such as the fair-skinned Western races, the dark-skinned Black races, and the yellow-skinned Eastern races. Yet, regardless of these subgroups, they are all one: the Human Race.
When facing external enemies, they stand united—regardless of origin or appearance.
The Divine-Demonic Battlefield is not solely populated by Easterners. Westerners and others have all arrived here, rallying to the front lines.
This war is not about race or color—it is a war between two worlds. Once it begins, there's no turning back. And only true experts understand the real stakes.
So, encountering Westerners on the battlefield is nothing unusual.
"I think I smell someone familiar… That scent—absolutely someone I've met before.Smells like… that golden-furred guy!"
Suddenly, Green Emperor jumped up, his eyes glowing with green light.
"Golden fur? You mean… Arthur?"
Yi Tianxing's mind instantly flashed back to the Secret Realm of the World's Number One Martial Tournament, recalling the scene where Green Emperor wouldn't stop chasing after Arthur—the only man to feed Green Emperor his own flesh.
He had left a lasting impression.
Now, as they drew closer, Green Emperor instinctively sensed that familiar scent.
"Yes! Yes! That golden guy! His meat—delicious!"Green Emperor's eyes gleamed with excitement, nodding rapidly. He looked ready to taste that delicacy once more.
"Interesting. Let's head over and see for ourselves."
Yi Tianxing smiled meaningfully. With Arthur's strength, it was no surprise he had risen among the Westerners.
The only question now—how strong had Arthur's power base become?
Not far from White Crow City stood a massive battle city.
This city was called Simon City.
It had towering magic towers reaching into the sky. Within each stood powerful mages, guarded day and night. The magical crystals atop the towers flickered with radiant streams of energy and mystical runes.
Along the walls were countless armored warriors patrolling restlessly.Their armor was clearly of Western design, and their weapons—lances and greatswords—looked ready to cut down anything in their path.
They exuded violent, battle-hardened auras.
These Western warriors practiced battle qi and magic. Battle qi was wild and unrestrained, surging directly through the flesh and blood instead of meridians. Cultivators condensed battle qi vortices within their bodies, unleashing devastating power—but at a cost. Control was difficult, and overuse often harmed the user.
Still, in war, they were formidable.
The warriors atop the walls had clearly refined their battle qi to a terrifying level. Towering and muscular, they gave off a savage presence.
Within the city sat a golden-armored man with blazing golden hair, like fire. He sat regally upon his throne, a war sword resting at his side, exuding a natural, commanding aura.
A born ruler.
His presence alone commanded loyalty. Wherever he walked, people gathered—drawn by charisma. That was the kind of man Arthur was.
And so, amid the chaos of the battlefield, Arthur rose.He established a Fortune Dynasty, the Arthurian Kingdom, and named the realm after himself. He infused everything into his kingdom—its structure, its vision, even its soul.
His influence ran deep. No one in his kingdom could challenge his authority.
Just then, a brawny warrior entered the hall and bowed.
"Your Majesty, King Arthur.According to our scouts, the Great Yi's White Crow City is approaching Simon City. How shall we respond?"
White Crow City wasn't attempting to hide. A moving fortress that size would be spotted from miles away.
Arthur, of course, already knew of Great Yi.They had participated in earlier trade summits. He was well aware of the terrifying power Yi Tianxing wielded.
"Bismarck, do not worry.Emperor Yi is a man of extraordinary vision—not someone the average person can fathom. If White Crow City has come, it is surely not for conquest."
Arthur said confidently.
"Every time White Crow City appears near a war city, it's to trade. They sell war soldiers, resources—whatever helps humanity. We've been lacking warriors, and Emperor Yi's war soldiers could strengthen our forces greatly."
Arthur had no ill intentions toward Great Yi.
First, because their power gap was insurmountable.Second, because Great Yi had never randomly attacked any Eternal World faction.Third, because Great Yi consistently shared resources and sold war soldiers to aid others in the fight against Eternal Night.
Their reputation and influence among humanity was unparalleled.
"But… the war soldiers Emperor Yi sells are all Easterners.I've never seen any of our Western race among them."
Bismarck hesitated.
"Forget the skin color. We're all human. As long as you understand that, nothing else matters."
Arthur's tone was firm.
On this battlefield, elite soldiers were priceless. Without constant reinforcements, a kingdom would be worn down and destroyed. Who had time to worry about race?
What mattered was strength.
"Besides… who's to say Emperor Yi doesn't have Westerners in his army?"
Arthur added, a knowing glint in his eye.
Indeed.
Among the Eternal Night slave soldiers, there had been not just Easterners, but Westerners too. It was entirely possible Yi Tianxing had captured and converted a large number of Western humans.
"Very possible," Bismarck said with realization."As long as they're human soldiers, he can convert Easterners, so why not Westerners too?"
"But if that's true, we'll need to prepare valuable items to exchange.I've heard Emperor Yi prefers to trade for rare treasures—even rare tomes will do."
Indeed, this was a key concern.
Great Yi didn't give anything for free—even if prices were fair, payment was still required. And Arthurian Kingdom couldn't afford to lose face by begging.
"Simon City has three main specialties," Bismarck said."First: the Potion Tree, which produces magical potions helpful for cultivation.Second: the Knight Bloodline Tree, which spawns bloodline knights—used for the Light Knight Corps.Third: the Eternal Youth Tree, which grows Youth Fruits containing Immortality Elixir—keeps one young and beautiful."
"The knight tree is too important—we use it to build our army.Only the potions and elixir remain… but we've sold much of it at the trade market already.I'm afraid we don't have enough to buy many soldiers."
"Don't worry," Arthur replied with a smile."I have a few treasures stashed away. One of them… I'm certain will pique Emperor Yi's deepest interest."
He sounded confident—yet there was a trace of nervousness in his voice.
After all, he had once scammed Yi Tianxing. That tower he handed over was a complete trap.
Even Arthur himself didn't dare refine it—a pitfall so deep it could ruin him forever.
Just thinking about it made his heart race.
Now, seeing Yi Tianxing again… he felt some fear.Would Emperor Yi hold a grudge?
But he believed—this treasure would be enough to make amends. It was something Emperor Yi desperately needed.
With that, his confidence returned.
"White Crow City is here.Let's go meet Emperor Yi."
Arthur stood and soared into the air, gazing out into the sky.
Indeed—far off in the void, a massive battle city hovered outside Simon City, waiting silently.
Arthur rose and stared toward the behemoth.
"I, Arthur, King of the Arthurian Kingdom, greet Emperor Yi.Though it has been long since we last met, your brilliance remains unchanged."
He had spotted Yi Tianxing on the city walls.
But then… Arthur's expression twitched.
A familiar green light flashed before his eyes.
