Two million?
Arthur's heart skipped a beat.
That number... was a little beyond what he had expected. Truthfully, he hadn't been entirely sure what the stone was—only that it had been attached to the tower base and was surely not an ordinary object. He'd hoped it would be of significant value to Yi Tianxing, and mentally, he'd estimated a range between one and three million war soldiers.
Two million landed right in the middle of his expectation, which left him conflicted. Was that high or low?
He couldn't be sure.
He even suspected that the stone might be worth more, and that if he pushed, he might squeeze out an even better deal. Yi Tianxing might even comply.
But after thinking carefully, he held his tongue.
Some deals—struck at the perfect moment—are better left unpushed.
After a brief pause, Arthur nodded and said:
"Very well. Two million it is.But—I want Western-type war soldiers. Both men and women."
His decision was made.
After all, the war soldiers he'd previously received from Yi Tianxing had proven themselves to be extremely powerful—strong enough to rival cultivators at the Life Diagram Realm.
Their battle qi cultivation system mirrored that of magic cultivation. The path progressed through:
Fighter → Battle Master → Great Battle Master → Battle Sect → Battle Spirit → Battle King → Battle Emperor → Battle Saint → Battle God.
At the Fighter level, one condensed battle qi cyclones;
Battle Masters formed battle crystals;
Great Battle Masters built battle diagrams atop their crystals.
This batch of two million soldiers would have a baseline of Battle Master, with a large number of Great Battle Masters—instantly skyrocketing his kingdom's combat power.
A momentous gain.
But Arthur wasn't done yet.
He had more treasures—and two million soldiers weren't enough for him.
"Good. We'll finalize that trade. But—I've got more treasures here.If you're interested, Emperor Yi, I'd like to exchange them for another batch of war soldiers.I believe you'll find them… quite tempting."
Arthur took a deep breath and revealed his next move.
"Naturally," Yi Tianxing replied with a slight nod."If it's a true treasure, I'm interested. And if it's a heavenly and earthly artifact... all the better."
"Please take a look."
Arthur placed three treasure boxes before him.
Click.
The lids opened, one after another.
Inside each box rested a unique artifact.
The first was a black cloak.
It shimmered faintly, but only if you really focused. Otherwise, it seemed to fade into nothingness, as if it wasn't there at all. Mysterious inscriptions danced across the surface.
Even Yi Tianxing's divine sense couldn't detect it—it was truly ethereal.
"This is a Heaven-and-Earth treasure known as the Cloak of Invisibility," Arthur explained."Wear it, and you'll vanish completely. Not only from sight—divine sense, spiritual perception, aura detection… all of it fails. It hides every trace of your existence. With enough refinement, it can become the ultimate treasure for stealth and assassination."
Yi Tianxing silently nodded in approval.
A cloak that could even conceal one's aura and presence? That was not ordinary. If nurtured properly, it could indeed produce an unparalleled assassin.
"Not bad. And how many soldiers are you asking for it?"
Yi Tianxing didn't offer a price this time—he let Arthur name it.
"One million war soldiers," Arthur said confidently.
"Deal."
Yi Tianxing nodded after only a brief thought.
After all, the value of such treasures was always subjective. And the dominant position in every trade still belonged to him. These soldiers cost him practically nothing—and he'd just acquired a rare artifact in exchange.
It was, without question, a profitable deal.
Arthur's eyes sparkled with satisfaction.
A million war soldiers in exchange for a single item?
He'd make that trade any day. With soldiers came power—and with power came everything else: wealth, women, status.
He moved to the second box.
Inside was a frozen coffin, radiating an intense chill.
Its surface was etched with mysterious runes, forming a landscape of ice and snow, like an entire frozen world had been sealed within.
"This is the Immortal Ice Coffin," Arthur said."It contains endless frost energy. Anything placed inside can be frozen solid. The coffin itself contains a microcosmic ice world. Throw it out, and it slams down like a falling glacier. Its power is immense—and with cultivation, it could become an elite-grade weapon."
Yi Tianxing nodded again.
This ice coffin held both offensive and defensive potential. In the right hands, it could freeze an entire battlefield.
It had few weaknesses—making it a treasure worth nurturing.
"How many war soldiers do you want for this?"Yi Tianxing asked calmly.
"Two million," Arthur said after a pause.
"Fine."
Yi Tianxing nodded without hesitation.
To him, two million soldiers was not excessive.
And for a powerful treasure like this?
It was practically a free exchange.
Finally, they reached the third artifact.
It was a horn, resembling a curved ram's horn, carved with imagery of fertile fields, livestock, and bountiful harvests.
Even at a glance, it exuded a strong aura of abundance.
"This is the Horn of Harvest," Arthur introduced it solemnly."It can transform barren land into fertile fields.Crops will grow rapidly and yield double—or even more.It can even give rise to spiritual farmland, influence the weather, strengthen flora, and fatten livestock.Fields will be full, and herds will flourish."
He took a deep breath.
Among the three treasures, this was the one he most regretted parting with.
Its ability to bolster agriculture and economy could change the fate of an entire kingdom. Its effects were immeasurable.
But in the Eternal World, with its rich spiritual energy, food grew fast and in abundance. So while it was powerful, its value had been somewhat diminished.
Still—not meaningless.
But war soldiers were more important to Arthur right now.
Yi Tianxing, however, lit up with interest.
Of the three treasures, he found this one the most valuable.
Agricultural abundance was the foundation of a nation. If used well, the Horn of Harvest could bring prosperity to countless cities and regions. A rare treasure indeed.
Support-type treasures were usually rarer and more impactful.
"How many soldiers?"Yi Tianxing asked directly.
"Two million," Arthur replied again.
"Done."Yi Tianxing gave a final nod."That brings us to seven million war soldiers in total. Is that correct?"
"Yes. That's correct."Arthur's eyes gleamed.
Seven million—his current forces didn't even come close to that.
With such numbers, his entire kingdom's military strength would skyrocket, changing the tide of war.
"In that case, please receive your soldiers."Yi Tianxing smiled lightly and waved his hand.
A space gate instantly opened within Simon City.
A signal had already been sent to the Hongmeng Heavenly Emperor Tower, which began preparing seven million Western-type war soldiers for deployment.
Arthur wasted no time, quickly issuing orders.
From the gate, a stream of soldiers poured forth—robust, powerful, and exuding fierce energy.
The soldiers of the Arthurian Kingdom who received them were overjoyed.
These new comrades would become the backbone of their military.
The stronger the Arthurian Kingdom grew, the greater the benefits for everyone involved.
How could they not be elated?
"My sincerest thanks, Emperor Yi.Your generosity is admirable. With these soldiers, the power of Simon City will grow by leaps and bounds. We'll be able to make an even greater contribution to the human race."
Arthur's voice was filled with gratitude.
"No need for thanks," Yi Tianxing replied calmly."This is merely an exchange of resources.Nothing more."
"Even so," Arthur said solemnly,"Even the rarest treasures in the world couldn't buy such elite war soldiers.I am truly grateful.By the way… there's another human-occupied city nearby. But their power system is quite different. They rely on mutations..."
