Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 You Are The Worst Jinchuriki I Have Ever Seen!

One month later...

By some miracle, the Kyubi's Jinchuriki of Konoha survived.

When Naruto was first brought to the hospital, every single Medical-nin who examined him just shook their heads in resignation.

Everyone was convinced the kid didn't have much time left. But then, less than a week later, they noticed his vital signs had stabilized.

Then the hospital declared him crippled for life. Seeing that all the bones in his body were broken, they said he'd be stuck in a hospital bed for the rest of his days.

And yet, another week later… the hospital discovered that not only had all of Naruto's bones fully healed, but there wasn't even a scar left on his body.

The entire Konoha Hospital was going through an existential crisis.

Anyone who didn't know better would've thought the village had discovered some kind of medical miracle that would shake the whole Shinobi World.

Once again, people had to update their understanding of Naruto's insane recovery abilities.

Konoha Hospital was established during Tsunade's time, and most Medical-nin survived from that era.

They'd seen the previous Kyubi's Jinchuriki, Uzumaki Kushina, and a few had even witnessed the condition of the first Kyubi's Jinchuriki, Uzumaki Mito.

If Naruto was replaced by the two previous Kyubi's Jinchuriki, and considering Naruto's age and the injuries he suffered...

Well, they'd already have the funeral ceremony planned and the eulogy written.

In short, this generation's Kyubi's Jinchuriki is extremely outrageous.

Inside the sealed space…

"Big Fox, when do you think I can wake up..."

Naruto was lying on a couch, holding the barbecue he had snatched from Kurama in his left hand and a freshly chilled grape soda in his right hand.

Ever since he fell into a coma, his consciousness had entered the sealed space.

When Kurama saw Naruto, he immediately started ranting at him.

He was absolutely fuming over this little brat.

Messing around with some unknown technique without a clue!

If it weren't for Kurama's Chakra keeping him alive by a thread, Naruto would've already gone off to the Pure Land to meet Kushina by now.

And Kurama's entire legendary reputation would've gone down in flames because of this idiot.

When Kurama thought of Konoha's Kyubi's Jinchuriki crashing into the village's barrier and dying, he felt his Chakra rushing to his head.

If the other Biju knew this, they would laugh at him for the rest of their lives.

"You are the worst Jinchuriki I have ever seen!"

Naruto turned to look at the giant fox when he heard that, and shock was written all over his face.

'Why did that sound exactly like something my former homeroom teacher used to say...'

'You're the worst class I've ever taught...'

"Once you recover, your training is getting doubled."

"As my Jinchuriki... you are too weak!"

"When I was your age, I was much stronger than you."

While eating skewers, Kurama began to scold him, acting like a teacher lecturing his hopeless student.

After hearing this, Naruto didn't know how to refute him.

'Easy for you to say that!'

'How can you, a six-year-old Biju, compare with me, a six-year-old human?'

Naruto didn't know what to say to Kurama, for he was afraid of angering him again.

After Naruto finished eating, he noticed he was already feeling a lot better.

His insane regeneration wasn't just due to his Uzumaki Clan's bloodline and Kurama's Chakra… it also had a lot to do with the magical dragon's meat he'd been eating since he was little, which can heal both mind and body.

Moreover, over the past month, Naruto discovered that even eating inside the sealing space actually helped his physical recovery.

"Big Fox, can't you give me a break?"

"I haven't taken a break since I started training Chakra!"

Naruto thought about it and realized his current life was probably worse than his previous life working a full-time corporate job.

'At least in my previous life, I could have one or two days of rest a month...'

'But Kurama-sensei is different.'

'Seven days a week, no breaks whatsoever. Now, I have to train more after my injury recovers...'

'I'm still a child!'

'Can you please consider the mental health of a growing child?'

"Hmph!"

Kurama completely ignored Naruto's protests.

'Brat, it was you who said you wanted to get stronger.'

'Besides…'

'It's about time this brat got out of here.'

Kurama stopped eating the skewers, glanced at Naruto and said in a growl: "Brat. Look over there."

Naruto saw Kurama pointing to the left and subconsciously turned his head to look.

Then, Kurama slapped him out of the sealed space.

On the hospital bed, Naruto was wrapped like a mummy. His eyelids fluttered and he suddenly sat up from the bed.

"I was careless!"

Naruto woke up and gritted his teeth, shouting in his heart that Kurama was very despicable.

'He actually drove me out of the sealed space when I wasn't paying attention.'

He had been looking forward to waking up, but now that he knew Kurama was planning to double his training, he honestly would've rather stayed in the sealed space, slacking off.

Sunlight streamed through the window, falling gently across Naruto's face. Though not harsh, he still found it a little too bright.

Naruto raised his hand to slightly cover his eyes, looked out the window through the gaps between his palms, and his heart gradually calmed down.

"…It's good to be alive."

He sighed softly, then noticed the nightstand was filled with get-well cards and there's also a fruit basket filled with bananas and apples.

After a quick look, he found that most of the cards were written by the little loli Hinata. There were also cards from Kakashi, Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba, Ino...

'Huh?'

'How come there's even Sakura's?'

Naruto was honestly confused. He didn't even remember talking much with most of his classmates.

'Whatever... it didn't really matter now.'

Naruto casually grabbed an apple from the fruit basket, rubbed it against his clothes, and took a big bite.

It was during this process that he discovered…

There's a patient in the bed next to his own.

'Sasuke!?'

'Why is he here???'

Naruto froze mid-bite, utterly stunned to see Sasuke in the neighboring bed.

'And this guy looked… kinda out of it.'

Sasuke was lying on the bed. He is not unconscious, and his eyes are wide open. However, his eyes were lifeless and empty, and his expression was blank...

'Wait!!!'

Naruto's eyes suddenly widened and his hand paused again.

'That look on Sasuke's face...'

'Did the Uchiha Clan get destroyed?'

He originally planned to greet Sasuke, but once he realized the Uchiha Genocide had happened, he thought better of it.

After all, if he accidentally said the wrong thing and triggered the guy again, it'd be a disaster.

However, Naruto felt a little sympathetic towards Sasuke.

Not long ago, Sasuke had been living happily with his whole family, but then his own brother suddenly changed and slaughtered the entire clan.

And he is also the brother he loved most...

That pain had to be unbearable.

Looking at Sasuke's life from start to finish… he honestly seemed like the only normal person in the entire Shinobi World.

Compared to that… the prince in the original work...

Let's just say it's complicated.

Especially that scene where Black Zetsu mocked Obito, Naruto nearly burst out laughing.

If it had been him, he'd be standing right next to Black Zetsu, laughing his ass off at Obito, and stealing all the flowers sent to his grave just out of spite!

How could someone come up with a sentence like 'I won't allow you to mock Obito'?

Naruto let out a quiet sigh as he looked over at Sasuke.

After all, the two of them had already fought once, which made Sasuke one of the few kids around his age that Naruto actually knew.

In the whole village, the only peers Naruto was remotely familiar with were Hinata and Sasuke.

He kind of wanted to comfort the guy… but sadly, he wasn't exactly gifted with the Talk-no-Jutsu like a certain someone.

After thinking it over, Naruto reached into his system and pulled out a golden apple.

This thing can restore a small amount of spirit and health.

But Naruto had never eaten this kind of thing, so taking it out now is just to comfort Sasuke.

Naruto first took out a set of clothes from the system and changed into them. Then, he quietly tiptoed over to Sasuke's nightstand and gently placed the golden apple there.

During the whole process, he didn't make any sound, and Sasuke just kept staring up at the ceiling, lost in his own mind.

Seeing him like this, Naruto didn't say a word. He simply turned and quietly left the room.

A few minutes after Naruto was gone…

Sasuke's eyes slowly began to regain some light. He turned his head and looked at the golden apple on his nightstand for a long time.

Finally, he picked up the golden apple, buried his head deeply in the quilt, and murmured something in a broken, tear-choked voice, "Uzumaki...Naruto."

"Thanks."
