Chapter 46 - Chapter Forty-Six: The Forbidden Dragon’s Breath

In the depths of the void, where the laws of the universe had been torn apart by relentless collisions, Ignus stood alone—facing the second strongest of the demon commanders.

The enemy was as tall as a black tower, six arms covered in glowing tattoos, his eyes burning with hatred. Each step sent ripples through space, and every breath carried a flame of frozen darkness.

"I've heard of you… Red Dragon," the commander said as he advanced confidently.

Ignus didn't reply.

Instead, flames began to surge from his body, and behind him, a shadow in the form of a dragon emerged—its silent roar radiating a terrifying presence.

"I won't waste my time with you," Ignus finally spoke. His body began to change—fiery wings burst from his back, crimson scales spread across his skin, and his eyes blazed with an ancient light.

He transformed into the dragon.

The void trembled, and the very dimension screamed beneath the weight of that power.

The demonic commander charged, swinging his six arms—each strike cracking the void itself.

But Ignus, with feral speed, evaded the blows and countered with devastating strikes—each unleashing an explosion of celestial fire.

The battle raged on, like a storm within a storm.

Yet the enemy was no weakling… slowly, he began absorbing Ignus's flames.

"Your power is delicious… thanks for the gift!" the commander roared.

Ignus stepped back, exhaling slowly, before speaking in a calm tone.

"Then… I'll give you something you've never tasted before."

He raised his right arm to the sky… an ancient seal appeared on his chest, pulsing with a dark crimson glow.

"I was forbidden from using this… before the sealing. But I am no longer bound."

His voice rumbled with a deep echo.

"Ancient Power… Burning Abyss!"

The entire void erupted around him—black flames surged from his mouth. But they were no ordinary flames.

They devoured concepts—burning time, erasing sound, and melting the boundaries of existence itself.

The enemy tried to defend himself, but his scream echoed as he was consumed from within.

He screamed until his voice choked, his essence burning away, until nothing of him remained.

Ignus returned to his human form, dropping to one knee, his breathing heavy.

"Only now… do I understand why I was forbidden to use it," he murmured to himself.

He then lifted his gaze to the dark sky above.

"Sajibro… Arthur… we're getting closer."
