Chapter 30 - TICONIC 2

A few years later, Planet Ticonic had flourished. Life had become prosperous thanks to the hard work of everyone involved in the long struggle. Kael, along with Mattew, Parker, Terren, Darren, Arek, and Tama, had just finished their voyage, exploring various regions, strengthening their bonds of friendship, and helping to build a better future on the planet.

They had just returned from their journey, feeling content with what they had achieved. As they disembarked from their ship, the people of Ticonic warmly welcomed them. Kael looked around, reflecting for a moment, realizing just how much things had changed since the first time he came to this world.

Meanwhile, Mira approached Parker and, with a loving smile, hugged him. Without hesitation, Mira kissed him, and they announced to everyone that they had officially gotten engaged. Their friends cheered and congratulated them, celebrating the happy moment.

Afterward, Mira turned to Kael. "Kael," she said softly, "Teresa has gone ahead with her engagement."

Kael paused for a moment, his eyes searching for the answer he already knew deep down. Teresa had moved on and was living her life with the person she chose. Even though they had shared something special, life moved forward, and they had to accept that reality.

"I know," Kael said slowly, but his smile showed sincerity. "I'm happy for her. Thank you for telling me."

Mira looked at Kael with understanding in her eyes, and although there was a hint of sadness in her gaze, she could feel the peace that Kael had found within himself. Kael had accepted that his path no longer included Teresa, but it was still full of purpose and invaluable friendships.

Kael looked at his friends. "We all have our own paths," he said, "But we're still together on this journey."

Everyone nodded in agreement. They had been through so much together, and even though life had taken them in different directions, they knew that their friendship and the memories they shared would remain forever.

That night, under the clear sky of Ticonic, they celebrated their victory—not just over wars and struggles, but over the relationships that had formed between them. Kael, who had found peace in his heart, looked to the future with confidence, knowing that whatever happened, he would always have his friends by his side.

Mira and Parker embraced, while Kael gazed at the stars, reflecting on all that he had been through. The decisions he had made, the feelings he had let go of, and the possibilities that lay ahead. All of that made up the story of a life that would never be forgotten.

Kael sat on the edge of the beach, accompanied by Dominus, the loyal white wolf, who sat calmly beside him. Kael muttered with a smile, "Seems like I'm destined to be single." He chuckled quietly to himself, finding a bit of irony in that thought. Despite this, there was a peace in his heart that he couldn't deny.

"I guess I should enjoy my life," Kael continued, speaking more to himself. A life filled with adventures and friendships had taught him so much, and even though he knew true love might not always come when desired, he felt content with everything he had achieved. He gently stroked Dominus' thick fur, savoring the peace they shared together.

Kael knew that his life would never be the same after all he had been through—the struggles, the losses, and the victories. Yet, he felt that his life was now full of meaning, surrounded by loyal friends and a new world they were building together.

On the other side, Princess Liana had also moved on with her life happily. Though there had once been rumors about a relationship between her and Kael, Princess Liana was now married to someone she had chosen—a prince from a neighboring kingdom, a key ally in strengthening the Ticonic kingdom. Their wedding had been a grand affair, filled with hope and gratitude.

Kael smiled when he heard about Liana's marriage, happy that she had found her own happiness. Although their past was complicated, Kael had no regrets. They had both found their own paths.

"Everyone has their own path," Kael murmured, his eyes returning to the vast horizon, as if the world was still full of possibilities waiting for him. "And I... I'll walk mine the best I can."

With Dominus at his side, Kael stood up and began walking away from the beach. There was a sense of freedom in his steps—embarking on a new journey filled with hopes and adventures yet to be discovered. "Ready for the next adventure, Dominus?" he asked the white wolf, who immediately rose and followed Kael's footsteps loyally.

They walked forward, not looking back, leaving their footprints in the fresh sand—a symbol of a life journey that never ends.

Kael remained youthful, even as the years passed. The people of Terra were known for their long lifespans and slow aging, but Kael was something else entirely. He still looked like a seventeen-year-old—handsome, charismatic, and untouched by time. His golden brown hair framed his face perfectly, giving him a warm yet striking appearance. His sharp eyes were full of energy, and his smile held a charm that never faded.

No matter how many seasons changed, Kael's appearance stayed the same. His youthful glow and strong presence made him seem almost immortal. To the people of Terra, he had become a living symbol of eternal youth and unshakable strength.

Dominus, ever loyal by his side, seemed to share the same timeless essence. Together, they appeared more like legends than ordinary beings—untouched by the decay of time.

The citizens admired Kael not only for his looks but also for his leadership, courage, and unbreakable spirit. Despite his youthful appearance, Kael carried the weight of experience and wisdom, earned through countless battles and hard decisions.

With a calm smile, Kael looked ahead—ready to face whatever the future would bring. Still young, still strong, still Kael.

Kael strolled casually through the bustling central market of Terra, which had now grown far more advanced than before. Semi-floating structures with crystal roofs bathed the streets in soft, warm light. Vendors from various races and regions gathered, selling their goods in an orderly and cheerful atmosphere.

He stopped at one of the fruit stalls, drawn to a row of silvery-purple fruits that only grew on the southern cliffs of Ticonic. He picked up a few and looked at the vendor with a light smile.

"How much in total?" he asked.

The vendor, a middle-aged woman with skin that shimmered like jade, pointed to a small holographic display that appeared from the counter.

"12 Terra coins, you can pay with a scan code."

Kael nodded and raised his right hand. The natural tattoo running from his neck down to his wrist briefly lit up, and a light beam from his tech-glasses scanned the vendor's code.

"Payment accepted," announced an automated voice from the device.

The vendor smiled warmly. "Thank you, Master Kael. Have a wonderful day!"

Kael gave a polite nod and continued his walk through the lively crowd, holding the fruits, the fresh and warm atmosphere of the market accompanying his steps. In one corner, children zipped past on hoverboards, while street musicians played a blend of modern and traditional instruments.

The market was alive, peaceful—and for the first time in years, Kael felt truly at ease.

This was home. This was Terra.

Behind Kael, hurried footsteps approached along with a familiar voice.

"Bro! There's a pretty girl at the night festival tonight. You coming or not?" Terren asked with a wide grin, weaving through the market crowd.

Kael turned slightly, his golden brown hair catching the soft light. He gave a faint smile. "If I'm not feeling too lazy… maybe," he replied in his usual calm tone.

Without warning, Terren reached into Kael's bag and grabbed one of the silver-purple fruits he'd just bought.

Smack!

Kael slapped his hand away with precision. "That's for breakfast," he said firmly, though a hint of amusement lingered in his voice.

Terren winced, laughing. "Man, stingy with your best friend, huh?"

Kael shook his head, a small smile still playing on his lips as he walked forward. In the sky above, the first lights of the festival began to glow—hinting at another peaceful, vibrant night on Terra.
