Chapter 13 - 8

While going to the studio, she was thinking about how she finally got to meet the person she wanted to. The studio street and the people there made her realize that becoming as famous as this studio required a lot of hard work. She thought maybe if she wanted, she could achieve it too — but nothing comes easily. She had one motto in life: "Nothing will be impossible."

She hired a taxi and got ready to go home. When she reached home, she saw Jackup laughing heartily. Rose said something to him, but Jackup replied that he didn't understand what mistake he had made when her purse was lying on the table. Rose also laughed but asked him why he had taken her purse without permission. She even scolded him a little.

Jackup softly told her that he had gone to the studio and, while coming back, accidentally took the purse with him. Then Rose left, but Jackup noticed something in her and called her. She thought he was joking, but when she saw Jackup not smiling, she held his hand. He recalled something and returned it to her.

When she went upstairs, she started painting alone. While painting, she kept thinking until she noticed her chain's color had changed from silver to red. That reminded her of Rose's nightmare — not a real one, but something very strange.

Rose was still in Italy, but she had seen that people at the stress studio were saying strange things to her. This scared her, so she asked the person next to her what was going on. In fact, Rose had rented that place, but she had returned by then.

When Rose came back, she realized she had to take her belongings. She packed up and left, without saying anything to Rose. Rose didn't understand why, but she thought maybe Rose didn't want to call her.

One day, Rose got a call from someone telling her that her company's CEO had been informed about her. Rose didn't feel bad but instead decided to live her life in her own way, even without her grandfather's support. She didn't want her grandfather to stop her from working.

She thought of going to Busan for work. She recalled how her mother had once said there was no one there to live with. Her father had gone to Italy, so she had to stay with her poor uncle.

Now, she had no other way out. She decided to go to Busan the next day and did exactly that. Early in the morning, she left, but she felt uneasy as if a nightmare had come true. She thought it was because of the chain's curse but convinced herself it wasn't.

On the way, she got a call from an unknown number. She realized it was Jackup's number — he had written it on a card and given it to her. Jackup had told her to call him when she was free so they could meet. Rose told him she was busy and hung up the phone.

When she reached the studio, she saw the beautiful paintings there. She was told by the head that because she worked very well in painting, the head department had locked the studio for her use. The head liked her painting very much and decided to buy it.

Rose's paintings were so good that they were selected for an exhibition, but she didn't want to sell them. She was told to bring some paintings with her. She said she could solve the matter later, but first, she needed to go to Italy for a day because she had learned that Adrian was ill. She thought she might not get the chance to meet him again.

Jackup was ready to meet her, so Rose took her paintings to the head department where her friend Ellie was. She gave the paintings and left for work.

Later, she got a call saying that the studio had been closed for maintenance, so she should come back later. She felt bad, but she agreed and returned. On the way, she saw someone waving at her, so she stopped. But she remembered she had to go somewhere with her doctor friend.
