She sat on her bed and sighed softly before calling out, "Susu."

Lin Xu's expression turned serious. "I want to know about Lady Fu. She's the guest of honor for the event. I need to know why she's so important."
Susu nodded. "Lady Fu, full name Fu Wanrong, is the wife of the First Duke. Her family, the Fu clan, is powerful; her father was the Grand Chancellor, and her brother is now the Minister of Rites. She's also close to the imperial consort."
Lin Xu frowned. "So she's someone no one dares to offend."
"Exactly," Susu said. "She's polite but strict. Once you cross her, she won't forget. Everyone takes her visits seriously."
