Direct explosion and Midway explosion is two different things.
Direct Explosion is more dangerous, the damage is huge while the range of casualty is larger than a normal attack.
While Midway Explosion is not only the safest way to lessen the damage of the attack, but also the light bullet she made is a perfect magic spell to counter her own attack.
