YuanYuan looked at XiangXiang's math test results. He couldn't believe how bad his friend was at math.
YuanYuan placed XiangXiang's math test results on the table where XiangXiang had already slumped on the table like a slug. All of his energy and enthusiasm had disappeared along with his poor score.
"YuanYuan..."
XiangXiang grasped YuanYuan's hand. His eyes were glassy like a puppy begging for food.
"Okay. Okay. I'll help you. My grades are average. If you're okay with that?"
YuanYuan replied softly.
"Thank you YuanYuan...,As long as it's better than mine. I'm okay with that."
XiangXiang kissed YuanYuan's hand many times as a sign of gratitude. Thirty out of a hundred was really bad. Even elementary school students could do better than that.
"Please teach me too"
LinLin said out of nowhere. He showed his test results to XiangXiang and YuanYuan. Twenty out of a hundred. Worse than XiangXiang. Even a kindergarten student could get better results than him.
YuanYuan swallowed his saliva. He began to think how he could possibly teach the two of them when his score was only slightly higher than the two of them. Fifty-eight out of a hundred. Not even a good score. Impossible. Absolutely impossible. YuanYuan began to cry in his heart. Deep down in his small heart, he prayed that there would be someone who could help him.
Night came. Eight o'clock. YuanYuan looked at XiangXiang and LinLin who were sitting in front of him one by one. Still thinking about how to teach them both. He was completely trapped there. It felt like a kitten teaching a chick to swim.
"YuanYuan, how do you answer this question?"
XiangXiang asked. He was really struggling there. He had been trying for five minutes, but he couldn't think of a single thing.
"Also this one"
Ask LinLin.
YuanYuan scratched his head. "I'm doomed"
"Oh, this question? It's easy, bro. Let me teach you."
Yaya said, out of nowhere. He suddenly appeared between LinLin and YuanYuan.
Yaya sat between LinLin and YuanYuan without any shame. He even ignored LinLin's sharp gaze.
"Here. This is how you solve it."
Yaya started explaining to LinLin how to answer the questions. It's really easy when you know the right formula..
Yaya raised his eyebrows at YuanYuan. "I'm great, right?" YuanYuan smiled.
"How about you teach me too?"
YuanYuan asked softly. He smiled. Sweet and charming. Yaya's heart started beating fast. It felt like there was no one else there but him and YuanYuan.
"What am I doing here?" XiangXiang asked himself. "YuanYuan... did you forget me here?"
YuanYuan was still talking to Yaya. He didn't even glance at XiangXiang. LinLin was ignored as well. "Urghhhh...unbelievable." XiangXiang closed his book roughly. Put it in his bag. And tried to leave.
"Where do you want to go?"
YuanYuan finally asked after XiangXiang stood up and ready to leave.
"Sleep"
Only one word came out of XiangXiang's mouth. YuanYuan knew that his best friend was angry.
"But you still haven't finished your homework?"
YuanYuan held XiangXiang's bag strap. It would be a nuisance if he let go now. XiangXiang's madness was on another level.
"I will do it tomorrow."
XiangXiang tugged hard on the strap of her bag, but YuanYuan still held onto it tightly. XiangXiang stared sharply at YuanYuan.
"But.."
"I just counted to three. One..."
All eyes were on YuanYuan and XiangXiang. LinLin and Yaya swallowed their saliva.
"Two..."
Now it was YuanYuan's turn to swallow his saliva.
"XiangXiang... let's study together. Like before."
YuanYuan, who realized his mistake, tried to appease XiangXiang's anger. XiangXiang's lips began to form a cranky smile.
"Study together? Are you fucking kidding me? Like hell I will listen to you after you ignored me just now. Study together you said? Bullshit" XiangXiang cursing in his mind. But his mouth only say one word.
"Three.."
And it was all over. Just a week. XiangXiang had lost all his patience. Living with other people was hard. Especially for someone who had been spoiled wholeheartedly by his older brother since he was a child.
XiangXiang released his grip on his bag after YuanYuan refused to do so. He turned with his sharp gaze still fixed on YuanYuan's face.
Thump!
He bumped into someone. WenWen was there. Taking advantage by hugging XiangXiang. It's really pervert.
"Careful bro."
XiangXiang turned his face away. Now his face was only a few centimeters from WenWen's. His heart began to drum. Thump! Thump! Thump! Loudly. If you put a microphone there, the sound of his heart could shake the entire galaxy. "This is crazy."
XiangXiang tried to push WenWen away. But stopped. WenWen's smile really gave him a bit of a strange feeling. Even his hands gave up. It felt like his whole body had turned to jelly in WenWen's arms.
Slowly XiangXiang's memories appeared on the screen. The strong hugs. All the evil seductions. All the disgusting kisses and heavy breathing. XiangXiang began to tremble. His face turned pale. If he were to cut open, there would be no blood left.
WenWen released his embrace. Sit XiangXiang next to him. Rub his shoulder to calm him down. "Have I gone too far? Oh God...what should I do...?"
The others started to panic. Yaya ran to the kitchen to call their two seniors who were enjoying their late night snacks leisurely.
YuanYuan and LinLin held XiangXiang's hand. They had been friends for many years. But this was the first time they had seen XiangXiang behave like this.
"Are you okay?"
WenWen asked softly. There was a tremor in his deep and soft voice. He began to blame himself. Being too bold was not good. WenWen slapped himself.
"I'm fine"
XiangXiang said. The vibration in XiangXiang's voice, created an echo in WenWen's heart. The pain was unbearable. And, those memories would not leave him alone. Completely embedded in him.
"What wrong?"
JiaJia asked in a panic. He immediately approached XiangXiang. Touched his shoulder and turned his body towards him. The pale face made JiaJia's motherly heart ache. He hugged XiangXiang tightly. Poured all his warm love into XiangXiang's small body.
XiangXiang felt JiaJia's warmth. "Ahh..so warm. Like a big brother's hug." XiangXiang's hands hugged JiaJia's body. Tight. He felt safe now. This made him start to miss his annoying brother. "Brother, forgive me." He started to feel guilty for being angry at his brother after his brother had a girlfriend.
"What did you do to him?"
XinXin asked WenWen. WenWen just lowered his head. Not a word came out of his mouth.
XinXin's eyes turned to YuanYuan and LinLin. They both quickly lowered their heads. They also felt guilty. If they hadn't fought, all this wouldn't have happened.
XinXin turned to Yaya. Yaya's eyes started to widen. "It's not me..." Yaya shook his head. But in reality, everything started from him.
XinXin's eyes returned to WenWen who was still sitting on his knees without any movement. XinXin bit the corner of his lip. Couldn't believe how quickly his juniors were fighting with each other. They had only lived together for a week and now this was happening.
"Haaa..."
XinXin sighed. Full of disappointment. As far as he could remember, he and JiaJia had never fought even once. Of course not. JiaJia's level of consideration was indeed at the level of an angel.
"I'm okay. Just feeling a little unwell."
XiangXiang pushed JiaJia's body away from him. He picked up YuanYuan's math book on the table.
"Still..could you teach me math?"
XiangXiang said in his cute vibration voice. He showed the book to WenWen. With his puppy eyes, he asked for help.
XiangXiang knew WenWen wasn't a bad boy. At least it would be a little good if he wasn't a pervert. But, seeing how guilty WenWen was, especially when he sat on his knees silently made XiangXiang start to consider WenWen's temptation.
WenWen raised his head. The puppy's eyes made XiangXiang's heart tremble. "What is that?" XiangXiang quickly looked away from WenWen's puppy eyes. "Urghhhh..."
"Okay"
As happy as a puppy. WenWen took the book and brought it to the room. XiangXiang stared at YuanYuan. Sticked out his tongue. Stands up and walks away following WenWen to their room.
"My book...."
YuanYuan was silent in shock. His hand only reached for empty air. The book was gone. Yaya patted YuanYuan's shoulder and LinLin placed his book on YuanYuan's hand. "It's okay bro. We're both still here."
JiaJia looked at XinXin in puzzled. "What happened here? Did they fight or not?" JiaJia didn't understand what had just happened. They just left like that. No words of thanks or sorry. Just left him there like a dry leaves waiting to be blown away by the wind.
XinXin shrugged. Their juniors were indeed tiresome. It seemed that being a senior didn't provide any benefit with juniors like them. Three years would be a long and uphill journey. "Haaa..I don't understand young people these era." A year different is still in the same era, you know.
