To Hestia, it stemmed from his yearning to draw closer to her, birthing these outrageous powers.
"In that case..." Roy teased with a grin, "maybe I should seek out more goddesses for better results."
"Absolutely not!" Hestia shook her head vigorously, her twintails whipping against Roy.
"I'm goddess enough!"
"Yes, yes!" Roy conceded quickly.
Satisfied, Hestia stopped and asked, "Which two abilities will you choose this time?"
"Mage and Mystery."
Hunter was always Roy's last pick.
"As expected," Hestia sighed helplessly. She wished he'd choose Hunter, but with two prior appearances, no rush.
When rarer options arose, he could select Hunter then.
It was most adventurers' dream, yet Roy's least favored.
