When the dust finally settled, Chi Yu was on one knee, clutching his shattered left arm. His right eye was tightly closed, sweat and blood pouring down his face as he gasped for breath.
A hole the size of a finger was gouged in his chest.

In the center of the destruction, amid scorched earth and broken terrain, a figure stood—lightning crackling around him.
The Third Raikage.

Chi Yu forced himself to stand. He grinned through bloodied lips.
"Heh… you're as strong as they say. I can't beat you in a straight fight... but..."
The Raikage lunged forward, fist glowing with Lightning Release Chakra, assuming Chi Yu was finished.
"...I'm not done yet!"
"Susanoo!"
A massive blue skeletal arm surged from Chi Yu's body, a ribcage forming in front of him.
It was the initial form of Susanoo—the defensive stage, manifesting only partial armor: rib bones and arms. Though incomplete, it was already formidable enough to block almost any conventional jutsu.
The Raikage's punch struck the ribcage.
It didn't move.
The Iwa-nin were stunned. Even the Raikage froze momentarily.
They had never seen anything like this before.
Chi Yu, protected within, extended the arm of Susanoo forward and struck the Raikage back with a thunderous blow.
He stumbled, coughing violently, and spat up blood.
He could only sustain this form now. If he had used Susanoo earlier, it would've been destroyed instantly.
But now, as both sides were heavily wounded, this was his only chance at survival.
