Kushina Uzumaki, heavily pregnant, met Mikoto Uchiha, who was holding the infant Sasuke Uchiha.

"Really?" Mikoto laughed lightly. "Then our sons will surely become rivals and friends."

Zetsu looked at Obito Uchiha with visible curiosity. "Are you really going through with this?"
Obito's voice was calm and cold as he replied, "That's right. Kushina Uzumaki, the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, is about to give birth. When that happens, the seal restraining the Nine-Tails will be at its weakest. That's when I'll strike."
Zetsu tilted his head. "But if our goal is the Nine-Tails, why have it attack Konoha as well? Wouldn't it be simpler to just extract it?"
Obito's single Sharingan gleamed. "Because the Eye of the Moon Plan will eventually make me the enemy of the entire shinobi world. To succeed, I must shatter the strongest village first. Konoha is still recovering from the Third Shinobi World War. The timing couldn't be better."
He paused, then continued, "Two of the Sannin—Jiraiya and Tsunade—are away. Hiruzen Sarutobi is old, no longer in his prime. That leaves Minato Namikaze as Konoha's true pillar of strength. If I restrain him… the Nine-Tails will raze the village."
Zetsu smirked faintly. He wasn't sure whether Obito was overestimating himself—or underestimating the Fourth Hokage.
