After saying this, both of them activated there duel disks and drew there cards "Alright, the computer has determined that Syrus will take the first turn." Dr. Crowler announced. "A-aa-alright, I draw first. I will activate the field spell Molten Destruction, which increases the ATK of all FIRE monsters by 500 points and decreases their DEF by 400 points. Then I will normal summon The Thing in the Crater. [The Thing in the Crater Atk 1,500 Def 600], then I will activate the continues spell Chain Energy this spell's effect is Each player must pay 500 Life Points per card to Normal Summon, Special Summon, Set, or activate cards from his/her respective hand. I will then pay 500 LP to set one card and end my turn.

"That is because I activated my continuous trap, Backfire, which deals 500 points of damage when a fire monster I control is destroyed and is sent to the graveyard," syrus said a little proudly before the green energy activated on his arms. "How annoying, but Lord Poison's effect activates, allowing me to specially summon one plant monster from my grave, and the world tree gains one counter." After she said this, a pink flower appeared on the tree, and Lonefire Blossom appeared on her field in defense mode.
"My monster effect activates as well, allowing me to summon one pyro monster from my hand, and so come out, Solar Flare Dragon." after saying this, a long dragon made from molten iron and fire appeared on his field.

"Solar Flare Dragon effect activates; you take 500 points of damage during each end phase," syrus said as the dragon launched a ball of fire infront of Alexis

[Fire Princess Atk 1,700 Def 1,100] "I will then set one card and enter my battle phase first. Solar Flare Dragon attacks her lord poison!" with a flash of bright plasma disintegrating lord poison.

"Lord Poison's effect activates, allowing me to bring back my Lonefire Blossom in defense mode, and the World Tree gains a counter," Alexis said. alexis said, as a pink flower appeared on the tree. "Now, Fire Princess, attack Alexis's Lonefire Blossom," the princess commands before launching a fireball at the Lonefire Blossom.
With the destruction of Lonefire Blossom, the world tree gained a second token. "That 's it for my turn and the Solar Flare Dragon effect activates."

"I draw a card, then activate the continuous spell Seed Cannon." Each time a plant monster is summoned, I add one counter to it. Thereafter, I will remove one counter from the world tree to give Tytannial, Princess of Camellias, an additional 400 ATK and DEF. Now I will move to the battle phase. Tytannial, Princess of Camellias, attacks your fire princess." alexis comaded as her monster released a barrage of green light from her flowers syrus responded
"You activated my trap card, Blazing Mirror Force: the effect is to destroy as many attack-position monsters your opponent controls as possible, and if you do, take damage equal to half the combined original ATK of those destroyed monsters, then inflict damage on your opponent equal to the damage you took." A dome-shaped wall of fire appeared, blocking the attack and expanding to wipe out both of Alexis's monsters before the flames reached them.

After the smoke cleared, Alexis Field was devoid of monsters and an empty hand, but her world tree had three counters. "Well done, Syrus, but I'm not defenseless." I remove all three counters from the world tree to bring back my Lord poison in defense mode and the seed cannon gains a fourth counter. I will then tribute Seed cannon dealing 2,000 points of damage to you, and then end my turn. Alexis said desperately but proudly of her friend. "Don't forget, Alexis, my dragon's effect activates, dealing 500 damage to you as well," syrus said full of confidence.
As the giant flower releases four large seeds that explode around Syrus, his dragon unleashes a torrent of flames directed at Alexis.

As Syrus looked at his card, he said, "I draw," and a small smile appeared on his face. " Thank you for the fun duel, Alexis. An intense duel like this helped me avoid getting lost in my anxiety, and I hope to duel you again, but with your actual deck," he said with a large smile, holding back a few tears. "Ha, it's fine, Syrues. I had fun, and we can duel whenever you want, just like Jaden. I'm glad you could overcome your anxiety, but go ahead and play that card," she said happily. "I activate the spell card Final Flame this card deals 600 points of damage to you," he said as Alexis appeared to be overcome by dark red flames as her life points reached zero and the duel disk deactivated.
Suddenly there was a thundering sound of claps as the duel ended. "No, this cant be a slifer slacker beat on one of my blues … I mean, congratulations to Syrus Truesdale on his victory in this round! We will take a 45-minute break for lunch before meeting here for the third round. Dr. Crowler announced.
