"Alpha Kendrick, your attention is needed, and it's urgent," Marcus said from behind the door. Alpha Kendrick opened the door and stepped out of the room because he didn't want Marcus to see how I was revealing my body in his shirt.
"Two guards were found dead at the borders."
"How's that possible?" Alpha Kendrick wondered if two guards were found dead at the border, the sentinels must have sounded the alarm already.
"The sentinels didn't say how it happened, they only mentioned that these two guards went hunting and were supposed to have returned two days ago, but they didn't. The Sentinels went in search of them and found their corpses in the forest." Markus was saying these words as if he were scared, but Alpha Kendrick saw it as a foolish act.
