I hated that the maid hesitated to answer my question and it seemed more like Alpha Kendrick never liked talking about her.
"I asked a question and I demanded an answer," I growled as she was about to tell me what I needed to know, Alpha Kendrick opened the door to check if I was ready or not.
"You ought to be done by now…" He first looked at the three of them before turning his eyes to me.
"Ravishing as always… red looks good on you." He exclaimed, trudged into the room, and asked for my hand.
He planted a kiss on the back of my palms and led me out of the room. I wished I had my answers before leaving.
He led me into the SUV, and he made sure I was settled inside before joining me in the backseat. He wasn't the one driving, he had one of his soldiers sit in the driver's seat and the other soldier to serve as an escort.
"They're really good at their jobs which is why I don't want anyone else doing this…"
"Doing what?" I wondered what he was talking about.
