Lu Ting Cheng, wearing grey lounge pants and a dark navy T-shirt, sprawled sideways on the long couch, one arm folded under his head as he lazily scrolled his phone with half-lidded eyes. But when a funny line played on the TV, he chuckled softly, his lips curving up into a rare boyish smile.

"Mom," he suddenly spoke up, looking over at Wan Ruyi with his eyes softened, "You used to watch this movie with me when I was little, I didn't understand its message back then until when I was grown!"
