"You will only get this cursed tool if you defeat this curse," Naoya explained as the spear rested in his palm. Naoya's eyes turned hot as he observed the weapon with an ongoing.
Naoya sighed as he walked towards the curse, and his figure turned illusory. Naoya appeared to teleport behind the curse. The binding on the curse was dispatched, and Naoya smirked.
"Fine, old man. You want me to defeat this curse? I will obliterate it instead." Naoya jumped into the air, and time seemed to freeze as his eyes envisioned a move set of 24 frames.
Boom!
The head of the attacking curse was kicked off and slammed into the door. The door was blasted off, and the head shot into the outside, creating a crater in the ground.
"Projection sorcery?! Not bad, though I wished you got the ten shadows." Naobito said with a bit of regret before it vanished as quickly as it came.
His eyes held a bit of pride as he looked at the headless curse on the floor. The curse started turning into ashes as Naoya stood with a wide grin.
He used Projection sorcery to increase the strike of his kick. His baseline speed was captured in the first frame and then increased in the next frame.
Each frame takes his increased speed and makes that increased speed its baseline before it increases in the next frame till the end of the 24 frames.
"I didn't even use cursed reinforcement. Such a weakling." Naoya said before walking to Naobito and taking the Inverted Spear of Heaven from his hand. Ogi and Naobito looked at Naoya with satisfaction.
"Not bad, kid. But you should know that not awakening the ten shadows technique means you aren't automatically the new clan head." Naobito said with a smirk as he walked out of the room.
Ogi followed his brother, and Naoya stood there without concern on his face. His palm slid on the handle of the Inverted Spear, and he felt his lips curl into a smile.
"Me not becoming the clan leader is like Santa existing. It's just not possible." Naoya said with utmost confidence as he slashed his spear in the air.
The inverted spear of Heaven split the air on its sharp edge with a harsh scratching sound. Turning around, Naoya walked out of the mansion. Naoya placed the inverted spear of Heaven in his Haori.
The spear was frozen in a frame that could never be broken because it was in a still frame forever. Naoya is the only one who could make the spear appear again.
Naoya entered the main hall of the ZXenin Clan, and he sat down to have dinner. The women from before started placing food on the massive table, scurrying in fear of Naoya.

The door opened, and a graceful figure with long black hair entered the room. Naoya looked at his mother, Naoko, with a smirk as she entered.
"Finally, I was starting to think your old age was catching up to you~," Naoya said to his mother with a smile. Naoko sighed as she looked at her young brat.
"Naoya, it's nice to see you today as well. I imagine your technique has awakened since you were called to the mansion." Naoko said with a smile as she walked past her son. Her palm ruffled his hair.
"Tch! Don't put your womanly hands on my head. I might catch some disease that will weaken me." Naoya said with a teasing smile as he stared at his mother.
Naoya did not know that his biological mother was dead the moment he was born. To Naoya, his biological mother is Naoko, and it won't change.
"You and your sexism. Some things never change," Naoko said as she sat opposite Naoya. The women from earlier immediately started putting food on their plates.
"Mother, it's not sexism if it's true," Naoya said with a smirk as he started eating. The food they are was Koby beef, the top tier beef meat in the world.
They were the Zenin clan. They don't eat trash like other people, especially not Naoya. Naoko sighed as she started eating. She couldn't change him.
[1 year later.]
Upon exiting his room, Naoya walked out, and a woman waiting for him placed his shoes on his foot. Walking out, Naoya was met with Toji walking in front of him.
Naoya watched as Toji walked towards where most of the cursed tools were stored by the Zenin clan. Narrowing his eyes, he decided to follow him.
Naoya concealed his cursed energy totally by lowering their presence to what can be called zero. His footsteps did not leave marks on the ground or make any noise.
Naoya tailed Toji until they appeared in front of the cursed tool storage. At the front were three members of the Hei, a branch in the Zenin clan mostly made up of semi-grade 1 or above sorcerers.
"What do you think you are doing here? You need permission from Naobito," the Hei member said with a smirk, looking down at Toji with a condescending and mocking expression.
Toji was silent as he looked at the three Hei members at the door. Without knowing what happened to them, Toji vanished from sight.
Boom!
The three Hei members were punched in the cheek, and they were knocked out instantly with their skulls caved in. Toji then opened the storage door and entered.
Squatting down beside the three Hei members, Naoya felt that they were close to death. He clicked his tongue as he looked down at them with scorn.
"You deserve death, but the only one allowed to kill a member of my clan is me." Naoya leaned down and touched the bodies of the three Hei members, and a miracle happened.
Naoya left his cursed energy on their bodies and then activated his Projection sorcery on his cursed energy. His cursed energy was not cursed energy but positive energy.
His Projection sorcery activated his reversed healing 24 times in a single second, healing the Hei members back to their peak condition, except they were still knocked out from the punch.
Entering the storage, Naoya saw Toji holding a worm-cursed spirit with a split soul katana placed into its mouth and the chain of a thousand miles being held by Toji.
Toji looked around the storage for the inverted spear of Heaven, but he was confused since he did not find it anywhere. Naoya smirked as he walked behind Toji.
"Looking for this?" Naoya asked with a smirk as he twirled the ISOH on his finger. Toji narrowed his eyes with shock in his eyes. He did not even feel how Naoya appeared.
"Give that to me, kid."
