In a beautiful house on the coast, in one of the southernmost towns in the land of tea, two individuals appear in a cloud of steam on the balcony overlooking the sea. Sitting there in a reclining chair is Izumi, enjoying the view and a cup of tea.
"Why did you call me? It must be important," asks Akira, leader of the Divine Order.
"It smells good, the sea breeze is something else," adds Kiyoko, who immediately goes to the edge of the balcony to appreciate the surroundings with her senses, the soft mist indicates it.
"I found a certain Kakashi snooping where he shouldn't," says the young woman without taking her eyes off the sea.
"Did you have a confrontation?" the man says, after sitting next to Izumi. His gaze also focuses on the sea, watching the waves crash against the rocks.
"He forced me to do things I don't like" Izumi's tone reflects his annoyance.
"Did you manage to beat him?"
"I redrew his face with my fists, the fucking pervert. Did you know he likes to read erotic stories in public?"
"I don't suppose you killed him?"
"If you hadn't given me that list of people I can't eliminate, believe me, I would have. I gave him a chance to retreat, but the arrogant bastard thought he was going to trick me with a shadow clone. I should have beaten him up a little more, maybe even gotten my clan's Sharingan back."
"His presence is needed within the village; he's one of the few with a good head on his shoulders. I hope you haven't hurt him too much."
"It was just a couple of broken bones. The Village has one of the best medical centers in the world."
"I know that very well. Did something more important happen at that moment?"
Izumi's posture shifts slightly, revealing discomfort. "Well, maybe I said some things I shouldn't have and made small threats to the village."
"Very small?"
"Small, not so small."
"Huge?"
"Gigantic! Enough to serve as a declaration of war." The young woman nods and lowers her head. "I don't know what came over me. One moment I was speaking to him diplomatically, and the next I was beating his teeth out. This cursed Sharingan is making me lose control."
The man is silent for a moment, then says, "But other than beating him up, you didn't reveal anything important?"
"I revealed the Sharingan but not the Mangekyo, and I also didn't reveal any of my special abilities or important artifacts. Come to think of it, it was pretty easy to defeat that guy. I don't know why they make him look so imposing."
"Don't underestimate him, Kakashi is an excellent ninja, the problem is that he relies heavily on the Sharingan, something that has no effect on someone who possesses a much better one like you… Now the problem is that we're going to have Konoha on our backs. The only thing I hope is that your little psychotic episode makes Hiruzen think twice before messing with us."
Izumi looks at the man somewhat offended, "You know this was inevitable. An organization the size of ours can't stay hidden for so long. Most likely, during the cleanup of foreign agents, more than one irregular Konoha ninja fell by chance."
"We can't do any more at this point. We'll have to put a little more pressure on the Daimyo's court circles to prevent him from being influenced by information Konoha gives him… Although I highly doubt that useless Hiruzen is willing to provoke a civil conflict in the nation."
Izumi can't help but nod, "So useless that he couldn't stop my clan from being massacred right in front of him."
"By the way, I don't see Yuina."
"She's at the Taira mansion. She's taking the role of teacher very seriously… plus I think she likes Zenji," the young woman comments, shaking her head in disappointment.
"That… I didn't see that coming."
…
Konoha Hospital
A dazed Kakashi manages to wake up in his hospital bed. His body is in terrible condition, with both arms in casts and his face covered in multiple bandages.
"Welcome back," says an elderly voice, revealing the presence of the Hokage, sitting next to the bed, skillfully peeling an apple with a knife.
"Am I in the hospital?" asks the ninja, looking around, seemingly a little dizzy.
"You looked pretty bad. What happened? I remember the order was not to confront anyone. The report from your group members says you stayed behind knowing there would be a confrontation," the Hokage asks, as he begins to eat the apple.
"I thought the apple was for me?" the ninja comments.
"Nope, it's mine. Now I need your explanation," the old man replies in a serious tone, still eating his apple.
Kakashi sighs, causing quite a bit of pain in his body, and begins his recount, "The mission was following a normal course in this type of situation. We had managed to track the points of greatest interest in several cities and we had agents recruited to carry out the inquiries without raising suspicions… But we never realized that they were already onto us, they knew everything we were doing… They killed our agents when we were about to find significant clues. We were tracking the black market and were going to give us the names of several nobles and samurai involved…"
"It seems they had no interest in confronting you. I say this because of the warning you should have heeded."
"It would seem so. I was left with the idea of speaking with the perpetrators of the threats… and in a sense my wish was granted, but my interlocutor ended up being a completely insane and extremely strong woman… She had a sharingan, one much stronger than mine, she didn't use any techniques and almost no ninjutsu… She defeated me in the most brutal yet simple way possible, without even letting me use any of my escape methods… It was as if she could see through my every move," Kakashi says in a very serious tone, his voice cracking, clearly due to the pain in his jaw.
"Now you understand what it's like to face someone with superior ocular power. The Mangekyo Sharingan is on another level."
"It's not that. I never could see the mangekyo, she only used the normal Sharingan... It was her speed that was incredible, her swords could cut through metal like butter... the armor she was wearing was extremely resistant and blocked my attacks as if automatically... she used a wind jutsu that was too fast and without seals... She had me in the palm of her hand the entire time. I never had a chance... The only reason she didn't kill me is that apparently she had orders not to kill me or anyone from Konoha."
The Hokage was surprised by Kakashi's words, placing his apple on the table next to the bed. "Are you saying she was an S-rank ninja?"
"If we consider that she really possesses the Mangekyou Sharingan, as the report you received beforehand stated, coupled with the fact that she only toyed with me during our encounter, she is undoubtedly an S-rank ninja." The injured ninja's words were spoken with great confidence.
"Then we are dealing with a serious problem."
"That's not all, because she was brutally clear that if we set foot in her domain again without her permission there would be no new warnings... She also indicated that she was an Uchiha and that if the Hokage and the group of advisors dared to set foot on her territory, she would personally be in charge of exterminating their clans, in the same way hers was wiped out."
Kakashi's body couldn't help but tremble at Hiruzen's reaction, who displayed a serious expression never before seen by the wounded ninja, along with a threatening aura.
"That's too specific a threat. As if she knew something about the Uchiha massacre."
"She was quite angry when she said it, there was hatred in her eyes."
"The most dangerous thing is angry people, because you can't predict their movements. This has become a national problem. We're facing an organization with one or more members with power equivalent to S-rank, operating right under our noses. I'm going to have to take this to the council and perhaps the Daimyo himself. This is going to be a headache," the Hokage concludes.
"I don't envy you," Kakashi comments.
