Atlas Hallow stretched out his long arms, enveloping her entire body in his embrace, holding her tightly, with his forehead against hers: "Charlotte Miller, if I could, I would trade everything I have to go back to the day you left, just let me take care of you, but time can't be turned back..."
Those bitter words came from his mouth, causing the listener's heart to ache.
Time truly couldn't be reversed. Charlotte, after a brief moment of confusion, quickly pushed Atlas Hallow away.
"Since we can't go back, let's each live our own lives well." Charlotte felt a bit chaotic inside. This man, whenever he got close, would unsettle a woman's heart.
"But without you, how could I live well?" Atlas's voice was so low it seemed to fall from the clouds, suppressed and heart-wrenching.
"Without you, I'm living quite well." Charlotte stood up, looking out the window, where the most beautiful scene of her life was painted.
