World Mage Hierarchy: (Please look at The Magic System page first before looking at this)
Note: If you read The Magic System page, you know that the force of magic in this world is Aether which is split up into different realms of magic. The more you are able to connect with higher realms of Aether, the more powerful you are able to be. The world runs on a feudalistic system of government where royals, nobles, etc. have bloodlines which allow them to access higher realms of Aether almost automatically.
Note 2: Xavier, in his first life, was the son of the King of Eldrath. Through his bloodline and knowledge he was able to access Primordial Arts Realm and became a Primordial mage. In this life in a new body, back in time, but with the same name, he has access to Arcana Arts as the son of a fallen Earl.
Through his previous knowledge though and altering soul scripts, he will be able to access Primordial Arts again, if not already.
The Rank Titles for mages in the world are: Primordials, Arcanaist, Aether Wielder.
Note1: Legendary Primordials were referred to as Archmages.
Note2: Arcanaists are further split into Lower Arcanaists and Higher Arcanaists.
(Lower nobles versus higher nobles)
Aetherion Arcana Institute Ranks (From Highest to Lowest):
1. Primordial Candidate - mages with primordial potential, highest level, god-like magic / Golden Robes
2. High Arcana Students - upper nobles, medium high to higher level, elite magic / Blue Robes
3. Low Arcana Students - lower nobles, medium to high ish level, advanced magic / Red Robes
4. Aether Students - commoners, low to medium level, basic magic / Grey Robes
Bloodlines: Someone's bloodline has a direct impact on their social status and ranking. However, it does not mean someone with a higher bloodline will always win in a duel. Bloodlines just make it easier for that person to access higher realms of Aether, but it does not mean that they understand the aether flow inside and out unless they are knowledgable on it.
