Chapter 167 - Chapter 167 - Indulgence

Xin Yu was incredibly embarrassed. Due to that unscrupulous fellow, his own emotions had become exceptionally rich and far more sensitive. Consequently, his body, now entirely governed by emotion, would react appropriately whenever it received a certain stimulus, with emotion dictating the body's response.

This kind of physical change, originating from the depths of his heart, was even harder to control. If purely physical reactions could be overcome by rationality, then this change triggered by sensibility was, in essence, a situation that only arose after sensibility had triumphed over rationality.

"Mobius... I, my current situation isn't right. Don't touch me."

Xin Yu could feel an unprecedented experience assaulting his mind—a sensation known as desire.

Back when he was with Yae Sakura, engaging in that act, Xin Yu's body still possessed some human-like aspects, though not many. He only vaguely knew what he was supposed to do, but his sensory perception was very weak. Rather than saying he was enjoying it, it was more accurate to say he was passively receiving, like a machine.

But it was different now. Xin Yu's current body had completely diverged from that prior, incomplete state. All the senses of his body could be perfectly simulated; it was just that the control over his physical form was now entirely yielded to his emotions.

Mobius could discern that Xin Yu's current state was amiss. She could see the desire erupting in his eyes—a desire she had never witnessed in him before.

Would Mobius retreat? Were she a normal woman, seeing a man breathing heavily, eyes bloodshot, his entire being even exuding a terrifying, predator-like aura, she would undoubtedly be frightened and flee immediately.

But Mobius was no normal woman. She looked at Xin Yu, who seemed to have entered a predatory state, observed this man in such a discomposed state, and a smile actually graced her lips.

"Xin Yu," Mobius said, reaching out, her touch firm, "although I don't know what exactly is wrong with your current situation, you must be craving something, right?"

"Although this is also my first time," she continued, "I am an expert in biology. I have a great deal of understanding in this area, you know."

Xin Yu felt his thoughts becoming chaotic, as if his emotions were slipping towards some kind of sensation he had never experienced before. Finally, his already precarious rationality could no longer hold under that stunning, firm grip of hers. He swept Mobius into his arms and vanished from the spot.

Then, from a certain room upstairs, came Mobius's cry of pain. After this sound faded, some time passed, and it transformed into moans filled with alluring temptation that sparked the imagination.

After another hour or two, amidst the initially decadent sounds, came the cries of a certain woman, begging for mercy.

And after that, no further sounds could be heard.

The next morning...

Mobius opened her eyes. An unprecedented feeling of relaxation spread through her body, as if she had lost all support, to the point where even gravity couldn't seem to find her—like floating in clouds, a soft, fluffy sensation.

After nearly several hours of intense engagement the previous day, Mobius had ultimately fainted from excessive stamina consumption and overdraft.

She had assumed that upon waking this morning, her entire body would be incredibly sore, lacking even the strength to sit up. However, she discovered that apart from feeling somewhat weak, her body wasn't as pained and powerless as she had imagined.

Mobius propped herself up with her hands. The blanket covering her slipped away, revealing her fair skin and proud, snowy peaks.

"My body isn't as exhausted as I imagined. A pity. I still remembered at the beginning yesterday, but later I completely lost my head and entirely forgot to preserve that fellow's genetic material."

"However, that's not really a problem. I can just ask him for a little more later."

Just as Mobius was engrossed in her thoughts, the bedroom door was pushed open. Xin Yu walked in carrying a tray, upon which sat a bowl of freshly cooked congee.

"Apologies. Last night, I completely lost my senses. I couldn't quite control myself and went too far."

Mobius gazed at Xin Yu's delicate and handsome face, and couldn't help but wonder if this counted as her keeping a pretty boy. After all, Xin Yu's youthful appearance would, to any outsider, clearly resemble that of a university student just stepping into society.

Xin Yu, tray in hand, sat down beside Mobius. He placed the tray on the nearby nightstand, then picked up the bowl, scooped a spoonful, blew on it gently, and then brought the porcelain spoon laden with congee to Mobius's lips.

Mobius smiled, opened her mouth, and accepted Xin Yu's feeding. She then squinted slightly, watching Xin Yu as he took care of her.

"Has my body undergone any changes?"

"Yes," Xin Yu replied. "I used a bit of my own power to strengthen your body. Essentially, I am no longer flesh and blood—or rather, I am no longer a carbon-based lifeform. What I am now is more akin to a being formed from the aggregation of high-purity energy, disguised in a human form. Anything you might collect from me would appear human-like on the surface, but if you were to research it deeply, you would only discover it to be some kind of high-energy aggregate."

"And if you attempt to do anything with this energy, I advise you, it's best you don't. My energy is far too dangerous, possibly even more dangerous than Honkai."

This was also why Xin Yu hadn't directly shared the energy within his body with Raiden Mei back then. After all, if someone could completely master the energy currently within him, their strength and abilities would undergo a tremendous breakthrough.

But the issue was that this chaotic, disordered energy, intermingled with a series of strange abilities such as time and space manipulation, could only be perfectly mastered by Xin Yu himself. In other circumstances, he would only convert his own mana into other types of energy to give to others, much like when he had converted it into Honkai energy to gift to Raiden Mei.

Mobius didn't press further. She simply watched with a smile as Xin Yu finished feeding her before she spoke.

"So, in essence, your so-called genetic material is also an energy aggregate, I take it? I don't need to worry about issues like activity?"

"Er, indeed, you don't need to worry about that. The problem is, I'm also not certain whether these things aggregated from energy can actually exhibit any biological characteristics."

"Then there's no problem. Hmm, Xin Yu, could you go to the storage room downstairs and bring me the box for preserving samples? I've labeled it."

Xin Yu nodded. He picked up the tray and left. Not long after, he returned, carrying a small metal box.

Mobius opened the metal box. Inside were several specially-made test tubes, and the box also contained a small, custom-built refrigeration unit, capable of preserving the freshness of samples to a certain extent.

Subsequently, Xin Yu watched, lines of exasperation forming on his forehead, as Mobius, still unclothed, climbed out of bed and squatted down in front of him.

"Mobius, wait a moment... Hiss!"

Mobius, collecting samples.
