Tet paced around nervously, his mismatched eyes darting to the door every few seconds as he waited for Hestia. Despite his usual confident and whimsical demeanor, there was an uncharacteristic tightness in his chest—dating was entirely new to him. He had decided they were going to have their date on Disboard—specifically, he was going to show her around Elkia.
After a few more minutes, the door opened and Hestia entered the room. She wore a simple yet refined chocolate-brown dress. Her warm brown hair was tied back in a neat ponytail, a few loose strands framing her heart-shaped face. She moved with a light, bouncy step, her bright eyes lighting up the room in that effortlessly cheerful way.
Tet, for once, wasn't wearing his signature cap. His hair was neatly combed and caught the light in a way that made his youthful features stand out even more. He wore a green shirt paired with a red jacket and blue pants, the colors bold and mismatched in a way that somehow suited him perfectly.
Tet smiled, tilting his head slightly with an almost playful admiration, and said, "You look great, Hestia."
Hestia giggled, warmly and replied, "Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself, but I can tell you're nervous." She stepped closer, her expression softening and said. "Calm down, just take a deep breath… and let's go have some fun."
Tet took her advice, inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly, the tension in his shoulders easing. He then offered her his arm, his grin returning to that signature confident curve.
She smiled, looping her arm through his and leaned into him. "That's better," she teased softly.
With a flicker of light and a shift in the air, Tet teleported them to Disboard. They arrived in the capital city of the Kingdom of Elkia—a bustling hub of color and life. The streets were paved with pale stone, winding between buildings that blended whimsical fantasy architecture with practical design. Merchants called out from vibrant market stalls, banners fluttered in the breeze, and the towering castle at the city's center gleamed like a jewel against the bright blue sky.
Then Tet said, "Welcome to my home world—Disboard. Specifically, the Kingdom of Elkia, the last territory of humanity… or as they're called here, Immanity."
Hestia's eyes sparkled as she looked around, taking in the sight of the sprawling white-stone city, its colorful banners fluttering in the breeze. "It's so pretty… but why is it their last territory?" she asked, tilting her head with genuine curiosity.
Tet smirked, then said. "Because a long time ago, I made it so that all conflicts are decided through games. And, well… when people wanted more territory, they'd bet a piece of land and play games for it. Immanity ended up losing a lot." He shrugged, but his mischievous grin never faded. "But don't worry—my champions are working on it."
"I didn't know you had champions. What are they like?" Hestia asked, smiling warmly, her hands clasped in front of her.
"They're a bit quirky," Tet admitted with a chuckle, "but they're good people. They're also the only ones who have ever beaten me, so I have faith they'll take care of business. But enough about that—" His eyes glimmered playfully. "Today is about us. Let's have some fun."
Then Tet took Hestia around the city on a sightseeing tour. They explored the towering marble castle, wandered through the lush gardens blooming with flowers in every color, and stopped to eat at food stalls, sampling skewers of grilled meat and sweet pastries dusted with powdered sugar.
As they were walking together and eating their snacks, they noticed a large crowd gathered in front of the castle.
Hestia pointed, curiosity written all over her face. "What's going on, Tet?"
"I don't know," Tet replied, bouncing slightly on his heels. "Let's ask." He strolled over to someone in the crowd and said, "Excuse me, what's the crowd for?"
The man glanced at him and replied, "Ain't you heard, kid? There's a game going on to decide the new ruler of Immanity. Two newcomers challenged Lady Zell. The winner will be our new king."
"Oh, that's what's going on," Tet said with a knowing grin. "They got this."
"You don't want to watch them?" Hestia asked, tilting her head.
Tet waved a hand dismissively. "Nah, I already know what's going to happen. Instead, wanna go mess with someone?"
Hestia's lips curled into a mischievous smile. "I'm game. Who are we messing with?"
Tet's grin widened. "Someone who took over Immanity's library… their only library."
Then, in Elkia's library, Jibril sat calmly, sipping tea, the sun casting soft light across the towering shelves stacked with floating books. The quiet was suddenly shattered as Tet threw open the door.
Jibril's eyes narrowed, ready to snap, "Who dares enter my territory without my—" Her words froze mid‑sentence the moment she saw Tet. As one of the oldest living beings on Disboard, she of course knew exactly what God looked like.
Panic overtook her composure, and she flung herself to the ground at Tet's feet. "I'm so sorry, Lord Tet! Please forgive me!" Her voice quivered, laced with both fear and reverence.
Hestia giggled softly in amusement. "She's funny," she whispered to Tet, a playful sparkle in her eyes.
Tet smirked down at Jibril. "On your feet, Jibril. I'm just here for a visit."
On trembling legs, Jibril rose, her composure returning only slightly. "L-let me get you both some tea," she stammered, bowing deeply before scurrying to serve them.
As Tet and Hestia settled into the high-backed chairs, Jibril carefully poured steaming tea, her hands trembling just slightly. "What brings you here, my Lord?" she asked, her voice still edged with nervous respect.
Tet leaned back, his ever-playful grin in place. "I'm showing Hestia around Elkia."
Hestia's eyes brightened, and she smiled warmly. "Yes, it's been quite lovely," she said, her voice carrying her genuine delight.
Tet's grin widened, a glimmer of mischief dancing in his eyes. "But I'm not here to tell you about that. I am here to inform you… in the future, I'll be borrowing you to take care of a couple of things for me. You only need to be ready for when the time comes."
Jibril stiffened, standing straighter than ever. "Y-yes, my Lord," she replied, her tone formal, but her mind already racing with questions and anticipation.
Once Tet and Hestia finished their tea, they rose, and as soon as the door clicked shut behind them, Jibril let out a dramatic groan, face-planting onto the table. "Why me? Out of everyone on Disboard… why'd he choose me?"
Her voice was a mix of exasperation, disbelief, and grudging admiration, leaving the room echoing with her frustrated sighs.
Tet and Hestia continued their date by exploring the rest of Elkia, wandering through the colorful streets, admiring the medieval architecture, and stopping at bustling market stalls. The city buzzed with life around them, but in their little bubble, they moved at their own pace, laughing, teasing, and enjoying each other's company.
They finished the evening by having a nice dinner on a mountain overlooking the city, the setting sun painting the sky in vibrant shades of orange and purple, casting a warm glow over Elkia below. Hestia leaned comfortably against Tet, her head resting lightly on his shoulder, and said, "Today was fun. I can't wait for you to take me out again in the future."
Tet breathed a long sigh of relief, a mixture of pride and nervous excitement washing over him. "I'm glad. I wasn't sure how well I was doing, but the fact that there's going to be a next time means I didn't do too bad," he said, his usual confident smirk softening into genuine warmth.
Hestia giggled softly, her eyes sparkling, and leaned up to plant a quick, affectionate kiss on his cheek. "Not bad at all," she said, teasing lightly.
Tet's face turned as red as his coat, his usual composure completely lost. He was left at a loss for words, staring at her in wide-eyed amazement, his mind momentarily blank. Hestia laughed in amused delight, clearly enjoying the rare sight of Tet flustered.
Eventually, he took her back home. After they parted ways for the evening, Tet collapsed into a chair, staring up at the ceiling with a goofy, contented grin on his face.
