As Kronus took his sword and challenged them by pointing it towards them. But he couldn't attack them physically because they stayed still in the sky.
In a fraction of a second, the entire army came down, ready to attack, while the leader remained floating above, watching silently.
Most of the Entities prepared to attack Kronus using weapons, while some stayed back to cast beams and provide support. As Kronus got ready, the Soldiers charged at him, and the others began shooting beams aimlessly.
But Kronus, single-handedly, attacked the charging Entities and dodged the beams at the same time.
As the fight dragged on and both sides exchanged blows, the battlefield turned into a scene of wreckage and destruction. Somehow, Kronus began to kill the Entities, though he sustained many injuries. Yet he kept moving forward, aiming to attack the mage soldiers who were firing the beams.
Gradually, he reduced the number of enemies he was facing.
After a long battle, Kronus managed to defeat the Soldiers, his hands drenched in blood and pain.
He noticed, "Ohh no, I lost so much blood and have so many injuries from just these normal ones… but I have to defeat that top one." (He looks up at the leader.)
Having taken down over 40 soldiers, only 10 of the mages remained—but Kronus could barely stand.
He was exhausted with so many injuries and blurred vision, having never fought this many before, and he had never seen mage-like Entities until now.
Still, he charged toward the mages with a slight confusion because his vision is blurred and he injured so much yet he shouting with confidence, after he reached further near to them he suddenly noticed,
"Wait!! There were 10 of them in the beginning… But now only 9?? Where is the other one ???"
While he was thinking, the mages in front of him spawned their weapons and began rushing toward him.
But then, suddenly, an Entity came from behind Kronus. "Oh sh*ttt! How I didn't noticed that?? I can't even dodge itt. Dammit!!"
With no time to react, it stabbed him with a sword. As he turned to attack, another charging Entity stabbed him from the front, and the remaining ones struck from all sides, not giving him even a second to react.
Kronus was surrounded, completely overwhelmed, unable to grasp what was happening. The battlefield echoed with stabbing sounds, and blood poured from the spot where they surrounded Kronus.
Kronus was helpless. He closed his eyes, accepting his death.
(In Kronus's mind)
In a blank space, only a woman's voice could be heard.
(With a fearful tone) "You have to do this!! Please, hurry up!!"
(Sobbing) "No, no Mom!! I can't do this. I can't—I can't kill you."
(With sadness and trembling in fear) "But you have to do this, son! Please kill me and promise me that you'll never feel helpless again. Stay strong… and protect everyonee!!!"
(Back to the battlefield)
Then, Kronus opened his eyes—this time, with full confidence. He reached for his second sword, Xenos, the one he got from the village president. As he drew it from its sheath, the sword flowed with energy, glowing with a bright light.
Kronus unleashed a powerful strike—not just physically, but with a huge slash of light—cutting down all the Entities surrounding him.
He then planted the sword into the ground, using it for support, and stood tall like a great warrior, surrounded by the corpses of the Soldiers.
