Keifer's POV
Angelo's words are recorded in my mind. A broken record that keeps
playing. It's giving me a headache over and over again.He's alive.
I have a brother who is older than me and still male. The inherits
or my inherits are now in jeopardy. I need to find him before he
finds out about our family.
I looked at Honey approaching. She was carrying the gift I had wrapped
for her.
"Done." She said before handing the gift to me.
"Thanks." I said in a plot tone.
I took out my cellphone and checked if
Ervin had replied. But there's none. I just threw the phone on the coffee
table.
Honey sat down on the sofa opposite me. He looks at me and my phone
until she notices my other phone. The one that I use to contact Jay.
"New phone? What's it for?" She's about to pick it up but I grab it
first.
"It's my private phone."
She pouted her lips. "Does Keigan know about this?"
"No. Better not to tell him."
"It's up to you..." She said and stood to leave. "...When you fight, we won't defend him anymore."
I just let him go. Keigan is becoming more bossy each
day. And when we fight about who should be obeyed,
the next thing is he will act different. Sometimes it lasts a long time but
most of the time it's only for a moment.
He seems to be getting my stress from what's happening. Last night
we received a call from one of my cousins. He asked me to celebrate my
birthday Watson style and they will organize everything.
I knew they had plans so I declined. I felt like they were just
taking it in because my birthday was coming up and the day everyone would pass on my name.
With each passing day, I was struggling more. It felt like I was
choking.
I gripped my phone out of frustration. Before I even read that,
I thought about texting Jay-jay. I'll greet him since it's St. Valentine's day.
I was still smiling as I pressed send.
Not that long when I received her reply. I laughed so hard when I read it.From: MyFutureMrsWatson

Keep cursing. I'm mentally listing it. At least the weight I'm feeling has lessened. Jay-jay really knows how to make me feel better. How I
wish I can do the same to her.
I decided to leave for Ci's birthday party. I had the gift I wrapped for Honey. I put it at the passenger seat of my car. I ran normally because I had no reason to hurry.
I reached Ci's condo building. It's owned by the
Peraltas. Not sure though which one owns this. Maybe his brother or sister.
I went downstairs with my gift. I didn't know where the
event was so I decided to go to Ci's unit. When I got there, I pressed the doorbell button.
"Keifer? Hi..." It was his mother. "...come in."
I did what she said. Ci-N's family is complete but I can't see it in his face that he's happy.
"Mr. Watson! Nice to see you here." His Dad greets me and offers his
hand for a handshake.
I accepted it and gave him a short smile. "I came here to give it
personally."
I hand my gift to Ci-N. He smiles widely while accepting it.
"Happy Birthday." I added.
"Thank you! Can I open it?" Referring to the gift he's holding.
I nodded shortly giving him the permission. He opens the gift
while biting his lip. I look at the open gifts on his coffee
table. Most of the gifts are gadgets and shoes. Probably from his family.
"What's this?" He said while reading the certification. "Ownership? Jet
plane?" His eyes widened and he shouted in joy. "It's a real jet
plane? For me?"
I could see Ci's parents were surprised so they took the remaining
contents of the gift. The manual, contract and target design of his plane. All
of them were surprised.
"Y-you're giving my son a private jet plane?" His father asked before
looking at his wife.
"Yes, but he can't use it now."Ci looked at the other contents of the gift. His smile never left, especially when he saw the toy figure of his future airplane. His name was written on its tail.
"Cool! When can I get this?"
"When you turn 21. You still have time to study piloting."
His whole family immediately looked at me. Obviously against what I said.
"I think that's impossible. He's going to Medical School after high school." His Mother explained.
"I know, but no one can fly that plane. Its voice recognition process."
His older brother immediately shook his head. Then he left without informing any of us.
Someone is pissed off.
"I think I'll wait outside. Maybe my friends will come." His
sister said and followed their brother.
"I have a plane!" Ci-N said while playing with the toy figure.
Ci's Dad faced me and looked at me seriously.
"Can we talk outside?"
I knew what they were going to say but I still agreed. We went out of Ci's unit.
"You look like you need to take back your gift." He said and forced a
smile. "...My son will be the most successful doctor in our family.
I don't want to lose sight of what he's studying."
"No worries Doctor Peralta. Piloting is just a moment in Ci's
place. He can still study at Medical School."
He sighed. "We appreciate your gift, but please don't
push my son to take piloting."
"I'm not pushing him. It's up to him whether he still pilots
or sells the plane."
Suddenly the door of the unit opened. We looked at each other. It was Ci-N and his Mother.
"Let's go to the rooftop!" He shouted while raising his hands.
"Stop shouting." His mother said.
His father gave me a meaningful look before we walked
to the elevator. Ci still couldn't stop smiling. Every now and then
he would twitch causing his mother to pinch him.
"Aw... Aw... It hurts." He said while scratching his back.When the elevator opened, we all got out one after the other. We went through the fire exit and went to the rooftop. As expected it was a birthday party for a 7
year old.
Then they got angry because Ci still thought he was a child. Yet they still
spoiled him like a child.
I saw the other mascots getting ready to wear their
costumes. Most of them are males. I even saw a Snorlax.
Jay-jay will definitely like you.
But I don't like the idea that she will hug this Snorlax. A man is wearing a costume, what if he scares Jay-jay? I'll break his neck
and bury him while still wearing that costume.
"Keifer." Someone called me.
It was Felix with David and Rory. I look behind them and check if
everyone is here. We're almost complete. Almost.
"Did you give me your gift?" Yuri asked me while offering me a drink.
An orange juice drink.
"Yeah." I said after accepting his offer.
"I won't ask anymore. I already know what your
gift is." He said and smiled.
I just shrugged before looking for a seat. I saw
Calix sitting alone while her girlfriend is a bit away from him.

Edrix noticed my gaze so he started
speaking first.
"Mica already found out what we did to Jay. That's why...
It looks like we're threatening a break up."
"Aw..." It was Eren while holding his chest as if he's in pain.
"Don't bother. We might get hurt." Kit immediately stopped
him and the others that about to start.
I just sat down next to Josh who was quietly observing the others.
Yuri sits beside me.
"Do you think Jay will come?" I heard Denzel talking to Blaster.
"It's coming." He answered.
"What if it doesn't." Drew interrupted their conversation, causing the others to look at him.
"I'll pick her up then." David said that makes me look at him deadly.
Grim reaper will pick you up"And why are you the one who's picking her up?"
"Because she won't come if you're the one who's picking her up." He said
in a matter-of-fact tone.
" Burn Baby Burn..."
"Roasted chicken are the best."
"Where's the burn area?"
They reacted one after another. There was another whistle that made me even more annoyed.
"What makes you think she'll come with you?" It tried my best to
remain calm.
"Instinct." He said shortly.
She turned away from us and quickly walked away. I'll let her go
now but in the next few days when I see her make a
step towards Jay-jay, I'll break his spine.
"Why did you let her?" Yuri whispered.
"Right now she's the only one who can get close to Jay-jay without
reprimanding her."
I just hope Jay will really come. I only have a short time to stay here. Sooner or later we'll travel back to London. I'm just making the most of the time I'm here and I can still see him. I'm sure I'll be busy when I get there. The others are starting to get food. I'm not in the mood to eat yet. I automatically looked at the fire exit door. Please... Jay. I almost stood up when I saw it open. I hold myself immediately. I might not be able to stop myself from hugging him. But it wasn't Jay-jay who came out of the door. It's Rakki. I still couldn't take my eyes off the door. Hoping to see a very familiar person. The door opened again and the familiar person came out. It's David and he's holding a huge Jar with a ribbon. I looked to see if there was anyone following him but there wasn't anyone. David put down the gifts he was holding on the table then he walked closer
to us.
"Where's Jay?" I ask.
He pointed to the Fire Exit door. "I don't want to go out."
Suddenly Ci-N ran towards the Fire Exit while shouting 'Jay-jay' one after another. I didn't notice that he was coming closer to us."Ci-N will take care of her." Eren said while eating cake.
I just hope they don't fight.
I saw Rakki sit next to Mica and they chatted for a while.
I had a suspicion that she and Jay were really together and that
David didn't pick her up.
Not that long when the Fire Exit door opened again. This time,
Jay-jay was with her. She immediately looked around. She must have been amazed
at the Party. I saw Rakki approach and they chatted for a while.
"Told yah she'll come." David boasted.
I rolled my eyes. She probably didn't pick up Jay-jay.
I have a strong feeling that she and Rakki came here together. That's how quickly she got back.
Asshole.
I look back at Jay-jay whose currently talking to Rakki. Out of nowhere
she stand up and shout while pointing at Snorlax. But what I didn't expect was what he did next.
He hugged Snorlax.
Hugging is Snorlax is okay. Snorlax hugging her back is okay. Knowing
that there's a guy inside the Snorlax mascot is NOT OKAY! And it will
never be!
I tried to calm down. That guy is doing his job. To wear a mascot and
play with the kids. With the kids....Jay-jay is not a fvcking kid and it's not
part of his job!
I quickly stood up and rushed towards them but Jay-jay got distracted and
immediately pushed Snorlax away. I tried to follow them but because of the
children running and meeting me I had a hard time.
Until they disappeared from sight.
Where the fvck are they? I'll just find that Snorlax, I'll drop
it on this building.
I can't see them. Add to that the chaos of these children. I
don't think this party is for Ci-N. I was forced to go back to our table and
sit down next to Yuri again. But my eyes are still searching for that Mascot.
"Letting go, but here you are searching for your next victim." Yuri
heard and I gave him a death glare.
I went back to looking for pokemon. Until I saw him walking and
playing with the kids."Found you! Son of a b!tch!" I said before walking toward him.
I'm plotting a plan in my mind on how I will kill him. I pulled away
some kids to get closer quickly. I picked him up and immediately
he was panicking.
"Sir!" I heard from inside the mascot.
"I will kill you for hugging my girlfriend!" I said and about to throw
him out of this building.
"Sir, please don't!"
I stopped when an idea suddenly came to my mind. Jay-jay
likes hugging Snorlax.
I faced the mascot and forcibly pulled the thing on his head. I could see
he was afraid of me.
"Take off that costume." I ordered.
"Please?"
"Take it off!"
"My boss will get angry with me." He said and started scratching his
head.
I took my wallet and took out some money. I handed it to him who looked at me in surprise.
"Buy a new Boss that won't get angry." I said and force
him to accept the money.
He was forced to take his hand out of the costume he was wearing and accepted
the money.
"Are you serious, Sir?"
"Just give me the costume. Then leave. I don't want to
see you here anymore."
He took off the costume which I immediately took and put on.
He helped me and before putting on the one on his head he asked me.
"Are you serious, Sir? What are you planning?"
"None of your business!"
He just scratched his head again before putting his hand on me to complete the mascot. I had a hard time walking at first but when
I got the technique I was able to move inside. It was also hot and
had a strange smell but I don't care.
I looked for Jay-jay but she's busy talking to the birthday boy. I didn't want to spoil the scene so I left them alone. Ci-N is crying andapologizing while Jay-jay is smiling genuinely.
Someone is forgiven.
I waited for them to finish talking until I saw Ci-N carrying his gift. But
Jay-jay was not there—.
"Bulaga!"
I almost jumped because of that. I looked at her and she suddenly appeared and
hugs me. I smiled when I recognized her. I hug her back.
My Jay-jay is hugging me.
She smiled while looking at me. How I miss hugging her. I feel so
overwhelmed. I don't want to let go. I'll be here if she always hugs me.
"Sorry earlier, huh? The King of Snakes has a bump." She said that makes my forehead crease "...don't understand
what life is like."
Are they that close to the original man who wore it and
now can talk like that.
It doesn't matter. The important thing is that we hug now. I hugged her even tighter and it's a good thing she didn't seem surprised.
"I wish there was a real Snorlax in the world. So I could run away from that Dimunyung Ulopong that's been bothering my mind and heart."
That Ulopong is definitely me. It's a good thing there's no real Snorlax.
Say everything you want to say. As long as you hug me. Even if you
scold me. I won't give a fvck!
"...Never mind... I can move on from that pest too.
I'll lose my feelings for her too, and I can't wait." She said that makes me stop.
Did she just say the word 'Move on'? No! It's not possible! She can't
move on with me. Not now! And its never!
I let go of her and looked at her.
"I won't let you!" I shouted and removed the head thing.
He moved slightly away from me with a wide eye.
"I won't let you move on. I won't let you fall out of love. I won't
allow it."
He couldn't speak. I took a small step closer to him.
"You can't do that! You can't move on and forget everything that
we've done!"Instead of answering me like she always does. Suddenly she ran away from me. I chase her as fast as I can but this costume is
giving me trouble. She wears it everywhere so I have more trouble.
The kids also confused me so I have more trouble.
Until I saw Jay at the top of the inflatable slide.
"We need to talk!" I shouted but he just shook his head.
He was supposed to go down but suddenly he changed his mind and slid
down. I thought I could stop him but because of this costume I kept falling.
"Damn it! Remove this thing from me!"
I tried to stand up again but I was having a hard time. Until two arms helped me stand up. It was Rory and Edrix whose
laughing at me.
"Are you serious Keifer?" Edrix asked with a laugh and shook his head.
"Stop laughing and help me remove this thing."
They helped me remove my costume. It was like I had
broken free from the cage and breathed a sigh of relief. I handed Rory the
Snorlax costume.
"Put it away. I'll take it home." Rory just shook her head while laughing.
I immediately searched for Jay-jay but she was nowhere to be found. I saw Ci-N
walking while holding a balloon.
"Ci. I need a place where I can talk to
Jay."
"I have another unit. You just go through the Fire Exit there." He
said and gave me the room number and door code.
I went back to looking for Jay-jay. I had already walked around the rooftop.
It was almost 30 minutes before I saw her.
"We need to talk." I said and grabbed her hand.
She didn't resist or complain so I continued
walking towards the room Ci pointed out to me.
He still doesn't move even though we're inside the unit. I'm sure. I'll tell him the truth. I won't make it difficult for us anymore. "I will explain to you every—." A strong slap stopped me.Anger consumes me but I need to control it. I can't do anything to hurt her again.
"Does it hurt? Even though, to be fair." She said sarcastically.
I took a deep breath to control my anger.
"I deserve this." I said in a plot tone.
She chuckled bitterly. "You know because YOU LISTENED! I'M BITTER OF A I want her to listen to my explanation.
"Jay..." I almost beg. "...I understand that you're mad but please
listen to me."
"Just go! Just explain... Because I want to understand
why you're playing with me. Why you keep hurting me. Why are you here again and bothering me." She gave me
a fake smile. "...Just explain. Maybe it'll clear things up for me and
be a reason for me to forget how I feel about you."
NO! She can't move on. She can't forget
all that.
I couldn't help but punch the wall. I breathed heavily. There's so
much pain in my chest right now.
"I told you. I won't let you."
"Who are you to stop me? Why? Aren't you the reason I want to forget? Then now you won't let me?
YOU'RE SO FINE!" She starts to cry and its giving me more
pain. "...I don't want to. I don't want to love you anymore."
"I can't."
"I don't want to!" She shouts.
"I can't." I repeated."Stop it! I can't love you anymore!"
"I can't."
"Enough! Don't make me suffer anymore!"
Please stop!
"I can't!"
"Why don't you let me go?! Why?! WHY?!"
"BECAUSE I CAN'T LOSE YOU!"
I couldn't help but scream as a tear fell from one of my eyes. It hurt me to hear that he would be
lost from me forever. I can't do that. I can't.
How can I continue if I no longer have a reason to
fight.
"I can't lose you. So, please... Don't move on." I pleaded.
Suddenly she cried out loud. I knew she was struggling too. I didn't want this.
I wanted nothing more than to make sure you were safe.
