Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Ultimate Theft

Ma Feng decided to choose the offer to become an adopted son of a king, since staying in the Shadow Forest was quite boring and he had nothing there to protect. He chose to explore the mysterious world he currently resided in.

They were already heading towards the Marcel Kingdom on horses.

The Marcel Kingdom is one of the Thirty-Six Nations and a noble kingdom of the East. They have twenty percent control over the Shadow Forest, and that's why they were the first to take action once the rumor spread.

Though the soldiers were still wary of Ma Feng, they lowered their weapons since he seemed like a funny guy. He had never shown any signs of hostility toward them at all throughout the journey.

While Ma Feng could be seen riding a horse with a smile on his face, he swiftly jumped down when they all stopped. The soldiers were surprised by Ma Feng's actions.

"Boy, what are you doing?" a soldier asked firmly, still seated on his horse. He was the Chief Warrior of the squadron that followed their king. Ma Feng sniffed the air and wiggled his waist.

"Nothing exactly, I just wanted to feel the fresh air," Ma Feng said.

"Come on, boy, stop that already. You're a man… put on these clothes and hide your little garden from us," the Chief Warrior said as he threw clothes down from his horse. Ma Feng caught the clothes and frowned.

"Little garden? You're quite jealous, since my bing bong can satisfy your entire generation of women. You can bring your wife to have a taste," Ma Feng said with pride, and laughter erupted among the soldiers.

"Such a funny kid you are, boy. I'll act like I never heard what you just said. I would've cut off your ear if you weren't the latest prince," the Chief Warrior said as he unsheathed his sword from its scabbard.

"Oh really? Do you think you can beat me?" Ma Feng asked.

The Chief Warrior got down from his horse with pride. He was seven times bigger and more muscular than Ma Feng. While Ma Feng was well-built, he wasn't nearly as massive as the Chief Warrior standing before him.

"You know nothing, kid. I've been a warrior since I was thirteen. My blade is soaked with the blood of my enemies. You would be butchered in seconds," the Chief Warrior said with pride.

"Violet… is this man stronger than me?" Ma Feng asked himself.

VIOLET: I THINK NOT. THIS BEING BEFORE YOU IS PHYSICALLY STRONG BUT HE LACKS MAGICAL ESSENCE. HIS MAGICAL LEVEL IS CURRENTLY AT 2%... HE IS WEAKER THAN YOU.

"Magical level of two percent, huh? He's just as strong as that Six-Eyed T-Rex I already fought. If his magical level is two percent and mine is twenty, I'm leagues above him," Ma Feng said to himself.

"Violet, what's the true meaning of magical level and essence in the first place? I'm new to this world," Ma Feng asked. The soldiers were cheering for their Chief Warrior, who stood before Ma Feng.

VIOLET: MAGICAL ESSENCES ARE THE SOUL MAGICS OBTAINED FROM THE VERY WILL OF YOUR SOUL. MAGICAL LEVEL DETERMINES BOTH YOUR MAGICAL STRENGTH AND MAGICAL POWERS.

"Oh really? Then I have a lot to learn about this world. But for now, I'll stick to not showcasing my powers. There are many things I must know," Ma Feng said as he immediately smiled.

The soldiers stopped chanting and cheering when Ma Feng bowed his head.

"Chief Warrior, sorry about disturbing you with my silly attitude. I hope I can be forgiven," Ma Feng said while still bowing his head. Though he was much stronger than the Chief Warrior before him, he lacked his own battle styles.

"Hmph… silly brat. You should've begged for your life minutes ago instead of wasting my time thinking you're stronger than me. I would've chopped off your head already," the Chief Warrior said.

"I already said I'm sorry, right?" Ma Feng asked as he slowly raised his head. The Chief Warrior twitched his eyes and gnashed his teeth in anger. He then turned to see King Ezerel.

"That's enough, Qi Ping. The child is under my protection," King Ezerel ordered.

The Chief Warrior Qi Ping fell to his knees and bowed his head before the king. He walked up to his horse and immediately mounted it. Ma Feng followed and, before climbing on, urinated on the ground.

Swinging his d*** before the soldiers and the king in a funny way, Ma Feng then wore the clothes given to him by the Chief Warrior. He leapt up and landed on his horse in a skilled manner.

"What a brat this kid is," a soldier groaned from behind.

Ma Feng chuckled softly, knowing he was pissing the soldiers off. He was only sixteen, and he was living his best life. His past life had been a horrible one, and he had decided not to suffer like that again.

He wasn't an introvert since the beginning of time. He was only isolated, hated, and seen as a pig to the world. A cursed child... beaten like a pig. Ma Feng doesn't believe there is anyone whose past is as terrible as his.

Enough of Ma Feng's past. This is the present!!

They resumed their journey while riding their horses toward the direction of Marcel Kingdom. It took them three hours until they arrived at the gates of the Kingdom. Immediately, they were sighted by the watchmen on the walls.

The gate was opened, and they rode their horses through. The watchmen bowed their heads before their King as they welcomed him back to the Kingdom, though they were surprised to see a strange-looking kid.

Ma Feng stared at the people bowing their heads before their King. He examined the Kingdom and its economy. This world was a mixture of past-world's old and modern era. Though it looked like an old-based era, it had high-level magical technologies. The Marcel Kingdom was quite beautiful and intense. Ma Feng dived down from his horse as they reached the Market Square zone.

"Where are you going, Ma Feng?" King Ezerel asked.

"I'm kind of hungry, and I need something to eat. I was planning on snatching and stealing a few things, but do you have some cash on you?" Ma Feng asked, as the King stared at the Chief Warrior in confusion.

"Cash? What's that?" King Ezerel asked.

"Oops, sorry old man, I forgot I was in this world. Well, do you have some money I can use to get something? I might steal the rest if the money finishes," Ma Feng said with a cunny smile on his face.

"You dare speak such words to the face of the King? How dare you, little brat?" a soldier questioned, but King Ezerel cleared his throat. He handed over a bag of coins to Ma Feng.

"The Royal Palace is filled with tons of luxurious foods, but this is money. You can get whatever you want here, and we'll leave for my castle," King Ezerel said with a smile on his face. Ma Feng smirked.

"There's no need for you to wait for me. I'll come to the Royal Palace myself when I'm done with this money," Ma Feng stated, and he left immediately, holding the bag of coins in his hands. King Ezerel sighed.

"Your Lordship, I am not questioning your decision, but such an unorganized and rude brat doesn't deserve your mercy. Why must he be adopted as our prince?" the Chief Warrior Qi Ping asked firmly.

"That boy is no ordinary kid. Didn't he manhandle dozens of our soldiers? He has some potential which I wouldn't want the other kings to seize, and besides, he is quite the fun guy," King Ezerel answered.

"You are my King, so your orders I must obey, but I still stand against him," the Chief Warrior Qi Ping said, and King Ezerel chuckled. They turned their horses and headed straight to the Royal Palace. King Ezerel knew that there was something special and strange about that kid.

Ma Feng entered the market with the bag of coins in his hand. He stared at the baked bread, the smell entering his nose. Ma Feng licked his watery lips and widened his eyes in excitement.

"I would like to buy some..." Ma Feng couldn't complete his statement when he turned to see the bag of money in his hand was suddenly gone. He rushed to trace the money, but he couldn't find the thief.

Ma Feng gnashed his teeth in anger as he was about to cry. He could feel his heart aching when a woman passed by him with her purse in her bag. Ma Feng swiftly snatched the purse and hid it.

Ma Feng secretly awakened his own skill: THEFT MASTERY!!

Ma Feng stole about sixteen wallets from people passing by. He went into shops and ate to his satisfaction until it was almost sunset. Ma Feng opened his mouth wide — he still wasn't satisfied with the food he ate.

He was quite the foodie type. Ma Feng had an infinite storage of food in his stomach. No matter how much he ate, he would always go hungry within minutes. This kind of thing would improve his unique skill: THE ULTIMATE THEFT!
