Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: A Kiss That Broke the Internet

The courtyard was packed.

It was the school's art festival—music, colors, and too many eyes. Perfect for a distraction. Even better for a trap.

Aira stood by the fountain, wearing her nervousness like perfume. Revan was on his way. The plan was clear:

1. Public kiss.

2. Someone takes the photo—accidentally on purpose.

3. Let it go viral.

4. Watch who reacts first.

But something felt… off.

She scanned the crowd. No sign of Nia. No sign of danger. Just too much noise.

Then—he appeared. Casual, cool, devastating as always.

"You sure about this?" he asked, close enough that her breath caught.

"I should be asking you that."

He laughed softly. "Let's make it count."

And just like that—he kissed her.

Not rushed. Not fake. A second too long for a lie. A little too gentle for an act.

And when they pulled away, the courtyard erupted.

Phones. Gasps. Laughter. Cheers. Hatred.

By sunset, the photo was everywhere. On school forums. Twitter. TikTok. Even a meme on Reddit.

> "BREAKING: The Queen of Ice and the Heartbreaker… Finally Melt?"

Aira felt her phone buzz nonstop. But one message stood out.

From a blocked number.

> You made it easy. Now let's turn up the game.

Attached: A video.

She played it.

It showed her and Revan—last night. In the library. Talking about the plan. The kiss. The trap.

Someone had recorded them.

"What the hell—" she breathed.

Revan's smile dropped when he saw it too.

"They were there," he said slowly. "While we were planning everything."

"But how?" she whispered. "The library was locked. Empty."

He stared at the video again. Replayed the background. The angle.

"Unless…" He looked up at her. "The stalker isn't outside the school."

She blinked.

"You think it's someone we know?"

Revan didn't answer.

But deep down, they both knew—

The real danger had just begun.
