( Old World - Greater Woods ( …still draped in that mysterious mist)
Nobody knew what time it was…
Autumn drifted in that hazy space between sleep and waking, her body deliciously sore, her skin still humming from the memory of Kieran's touch.
The mist around them was subtle at the moment…even cool against her bare skin…but the heat of his body…his arms curled around her...kept the chill at bay.
She sighed, nestling deeper into him, her fingers brushing lazily over the hard planes of his chest.
But then he moved away… her body protested at the lack of his warmth… but she was still sleeping… Too spent to wake up.
After just a few seconds however…she felt a slow, wet warmth tracing the inside of her thigh.
The pattern of her breathing shifted even in her sleep.
At first, she thought she was dreaming. But then it came again…a warm, wet, open mouthed kiss just below the crease of her hip.
Her lashes fluttered, her pulse kicking up as realisation seeped in.
