[ Old World- Greater woods - inside the mist]
The flickering light in the mist caught the sharp lines of Kieran's jaw as he watched Autumn.
She slowly pushed herself up, her body still trembling faintly from the nightmare…vision…whatever that had gripped her moments ago. Her hands went to her hair, sweeping it back as she faced him fully.
Her voice, when it came, was quiet, uncertain.
"Unbind my powers?" A pause. "What power…?"
Kieran didn't answer immediately. His gaze lingered on her face as though trying to memorize every flicker of confusion, every blink that pulled her further from fear and closer to him.
Then, with the ease of something too natural…he reached out, letting his fingers trail through the loose strands of her hair.
"I always underestimated you,my love…forgive me for that…" he murmured, a smile playing at the corners of his lips.
His hand found her fingers.
He brought her hand to his mouth.
