Ch87 The butterfly
It was clear something huge was about to happen the truth of the situation was about to be revealed to them it seemed like.
They were just hanging on by a thread just a little left before it would all end.
Just for the announcement to be made and for them to have barely any time to compose themselves they were transported to a different place.
"Hey guys do you see this glowing light around your body holy fuck my hands gone! My eyes im somewhere else help guys!" just for irene to say this and for the other three around her to look at her and suprise and panic all across their face.
Before they could even do anything or act out, she was already gone it seemed like.
"What the actual fuck is going on!?" Said shinya before he started to notice lucas feet disappearing as lucas fell on the ground.
"I don't know man but just know this is not the end of us we will continue on we will keep on going we won't lose go find irene!" Said lucas trying to crawl over to shinya but not before his translucent body completely disappeared.
It seemed almost like a white glow around his hand had started and from taking his hand came out pure white butterflies seemingly from which his very life essence was.
This was completely baffling and unpredictable just what was about to happen to them.
Watching his hand and inevitably more of his body more of his body parts slowly fade away as the beautiful white as a dove butterflies took away his physical body yet there was no pain.
Eventually it reached his eyes and as he saw it go up his body taking limb by limb it still felt like he was physically there that was until it reached his head. He watched as the princess was not affected by this as she just stood there and watched cluelessly and absolutely flabbergasted at the situation.
Just for shinya to close his eyes as the butterflies took the rest of his body just for him to end up in a completely dark room.
Complete stillness and silence.
When he opened his eyes he didnt even think he was alive he didnt even think there was anything there he thought it was total darkness perhaps he had died was shinyas first thought.
Only for his eyes to start to adjust to the darkness and slowly he could make out where he was it was a completely black room almost like a black box. With cobwebs in the corner and a chair in the middle of the room he was completely confused as to where he was.
Only for then for Lula the announcer to appear before him.It had seemed like a holographic sillhoute of the announcer it didnt seem like it was actually her though.
Only for her to start shouting out words"Id like to congratulate the cowboy monk and elf for the success!! I know you all have tried very hard but clearly they were just better! There was clearly no competition these are the strongest competitors everyone needs to watch out for!!"Said Lula the great before ultimately dissapearing.
This was obvious it was a showcase a telling a flexing that they were the actual winners of the game these three were the best.
So here shinya was knowing he was defeated in this round of the tournamnet he was officially a loser. He had to do better he had to do more he had to become something better.
Just for a recording to be showing a recording tape had appeared out of thin air and a projector only for it to start projecting unto the black cobweb ridden wall.Just for something that shinya had not expected to show up on the screen at all to appear before him.
