Ch 91 The candy prince part 4
As Augustus left the castle and walked with the back of the castle facing his back he took one final glance towards the castle to look at it from far away.
With the castle having all sorts of parts to it and several compartments attatched to it.
With it being a black and grey cobblestone castle and not being able to tell the insides form the very few windows that were all over the castle it could only make one wonder more just what secrets could be hiding inside of the castle afterall.
With one final glance he saw the figure of what was his supposed father staring at him through the mirror or atleast thats what he thought he saw.
As he watched as the figure walked away from the window perhaps this was a goodbye from his father he had never even gotten if this was actually his father anyway. Looking at the castle again and aweing its beauty and the horns and several shapes all over it distinguishing it from any town building or anything else in the area as it was truly alone.
An almost isolated sort of feel even though they were nobles.
So Augustus looked foward once again towards the future or atleast thats what he thought was the future as he turned back around towards the object at hand the importance of it.
The butterfly as he walked with the butterfly flying around as he saw the beauty in its wings and the color of black all over its essence.
As where augustus was walking towards was considered a dangerous land.
It was considered the desert of the continent.
It expandad vastly across the world as you could see it anywhere and everywhere as soon as you entered its line of sight. As it seemed almost as if the desert itself followed your eevry move.
With multiple different creatures and several different things waiting to kill you inside of the desert Augustus could only hope where the butterfly was taking him was somewhere safe or atleast a little bit safe.
As he continued on his journey through the desert seeing long centipede like monsters and weeds and cactuses growing everywhere it could only make him think of how much he had actually missed his home.
While there clearly was no love there atleast he had warm shelter and safety and somewhere to sleep at night here in this desert there was nothing but the cold hard truth of reality sweeping across augustus face.
A boy only 14 years of age coming to terms with the reality that no one or nearly no one actually cared about him.
He continued on ignoring his feelings till he eventually saw something.
He saw that girl again from before and this time she was standing in the desert with a black almost crack in the very atmosphere itself looking like it had appeared. Augustus could only wonder what exactly this actually was as he had never read any book or recieved any information regarding these black cracks in space itself.
It looked almost like somebody had took the roots out of a tree and put it in the air and made it all black. Or if you took a paintbrush and painted a long line then a couple lines going across the line.
Augustus ignored the black line for now and focused on the girl as the black butterfly flew closer and closer till it eventually arrived on her shoulder.
"Welcome Augustus i need your help will you help me?"Said the girl with her beauty as ecnhanting as ever.
"Just um what exactly do you need my help with anyway?"Said Augustus with not much confidence in his voice but still he tried his best to talk to her.
Augustus had only ever talked to the maids inside of the castle had basically never even talked to another girl his age he never seen his own sister if he even had one he wasnt sure at all.
He got closer to the girl and before he could even ask another question the very sky itself ruptured above him.
Only for a split second but he saw a massive black arm reach down from above and try and grab him only for the butterfly to go towards the arm and fly away like it was saying its goodbye to augustus himself.
"You see we dont have much time at all and this is a very dire situation Augustus someone like you someone so handsome and of royalty blood could very much help us you know are you willing to help me i need an awnser?"Said the girl reaching her arm out towards him she was only a few feet away from Augustus at this point and he could grab her hand and pull her towards him or the opposite.
Augustus didnt know what to do honestly nobody had ever complememnted him before nobody had ever truly noticed him and he knew he had to make a choice here wether he would actually help her or not he had to make up his mind.
Without thinking it any further he made his choice.
"Alright how can i help you" As augustus said that and reached his hand out towards her grabbing her hand.
"Dont worry about any of it all i needed was your approval for help thank you Augustus"Said the girl as a faint smile flashed across her face.
Augustus at this moment realized he never even got her name afterall.
It was at this point that suddenly everything around him began to become dissarayy like he took some hallucigonic drug everything became swaying and not understandable around him it was a weird feeling.
Like he got drunk for the first time the things he hears about when people get drunk he imagined this is what it felt like but this felt more severe this felt more insane entirely.
As he held her hand more and more he began to see things shadowy figures coming through the actual tear in space itself and hearing sounds and seeing things grow around him things that clearly shouldnt be possible in reality yet here they were.
Before augustus could try and make out any of the shadwoy figures facial features or what they truly looked like it was too late they were already gone and augustus was left laying there with his hesd spinning absolutely killing him as even the girl left him.
He realized he had once again been left behind and truly alone and just what had he let into this continent he could only help to know he wasnt sure at all.
As he layed there on the floor of the desert he could only wonder if this would be his last moments alive or if there was more for him.
"So thats it?? This is where we leave things off?? On a freaking cliff hanger are we serious right now how can we even do this shouldnt the tape continue and we see more of the story this is ridiolous, Lula!"Said shinya in a fit of outrage just wondering just where the story could go from here.
Shinya could only sit there in silence and his thoughts as he patiently waited for the next tape to be shown.
