"They relied heavily on the Dragon Balls, which caused negative energy to accumulate in them over time. That energy must be purified before one becomes eligible to enter the Dragon Realm," Omega Shenron explained, referencing the same phenomenon that had once threatened Universe 7 during the GT timeline.
"I've used the Dragon Balls before... and even the Super Dragon Balls," Li Xu muttered, recalling his use of the divine orbs from Universe 6 and 7 that could grant any wish without limitations.
"You're not a permanent resident of the Dragon Realm; you're only here for cultivation," Omega Shenron chuckled. Li Xu's access was primarily due to his role as a Time Patrol member sanctioned by Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time.
"I've got another question I've been wondering about. Could you clarify something for me?" Li Xu asked.
"What is it?" Omega Shenron responded with interest.
"I've heard that when too much negative energy accumulates in the Dragon Balls, evil dragons appear. What really happened during that event?" Li Xu asked, curious about the events of the GT timeline where Goku once faced the Shadow Dragons.
"The evil dragons were merely projections manifested by us seven Shadow Dragons using the corrupted energy within the Dragon Balls," Omega Shenron explained. "Their personalities and power levels depend on the nature and intensity of the negative energy each ball absorbed."
"So that's how it works," Li Xu muttered, impressed by the spiritual system that governed the Dragon Balls' cosmic balance.
"If you have more questions, feel free to ask. And if you'd like to visit the other Dragon Islands, I can arrange an escort," Omega Shenron offered.
"Not for now," Li Xu declined politely.
"Among the seven of us, the Fourth Star Dragon Nuova Shenron is the most battle-hungry. When you become stronger, he'll likely want to spar with you," Omega Shenron said, grinning knowingly.
"When I've improved further, I'd like to challenge him," Li Xu replied. He was aware that while Nuova Shenron's power may not rival Omega's, it was likely at least on par with an Angel-level being far above his current power, which hadn't yet reached the level of a God of Destruction.
At that moment, fierce battle sounds echoed from the training arena.

He deactivated Super Saiyan 4, reverting to base form. Sol followed suit, his protruding spikes retracting and body slimming down.
"You've improved tremendously," Sol remarked. He had watched Li Xu evolve rapidly over the past months.
"I'll fight you again in the future," Li Xu replied with a grin. Though they had tied, Li Xu knew it was thanks to his exotic moves. His raw strength still lagged behind Sol's.
"I'll be even stronger by then," Sol vowed.

Moments later, he arrived in the Time Nest, the central hub of time-space overseen by the Supreme Kai of Time.
"Li Xu, you're back!" Kane's voice greeted him warmly.
"Yeah. Everything's fine, right?" Li Xu asked.
"All is calm," Kane affirmed.
"Then send me to Universe 6's Planet Sadala," Li Xu requested. He hadn't seen Bulma in half a year, and his longing for her had grown stronger with time.
"You can't stay here for a minute, can you?" Kane teased, though he didn't object. With a flick of his hand, a rift opened.
"Next time, I promise I'll stay in the Time Nest a little longer," Li Xu said, laughing as he flew through the portal.
"You'd better! If you break your promise, there'll be hell to pay!" Kane's voice rang behind him.

Bulma sat alone in a quiet room, her expression sullen. Li Xu had been gone for six months. Since their reunion, they'd never been apart for so long.
Suddenly, the air rippled in front of her and Li Xu emerged from the distortion.
"Husband!" Bulma's eyes sparkled with excitement as she rushed toward him.
Li Xu said nothing. He simply scooped her into a princess carry and stepped into the room. After half a year of separation, words weren't enough to convey his feelings only actions would do.
